“The mental blocker” is literally my spirit animal. I do something wrong one time and then I develop a mental block over it. I swear I have a mental block on every event.
Same cause I'm also a perfectionist aswell, but when I did my back handspring and bonked my head I was scared to do it again after I bonked my head twice also I hit the coach almost in the head when she spotted me on the back handspring 😭😭 so now I'm scared to do anything back handspring without the rolly thingy (I always forget the name) but it's REQUIRED for the team 😭😭😭

And I managed to Break my hand on inflatable waterslide😂

At first I was a self taught (I was using your videos to learn) but now I would be the event specialist because I am pretty good at bars and beam, but when it comes to vault and floor I have a lot of space for improvement. I would probably also be the perfectionist.

I’m self taught but when I practice I mainly focus on flexibility so I look up good stretches on RUclips but I also do some simpler things like a flip in a trampoline or other stuff I’m still a begainner at acro type things though
I’m a tumbler but I am totally the mental blocker, in previous years I never believed in myself and I wasn’t confident at all. I would always freeze up unless a spotter was there and sometimes it could be so embarrassing. I'm better now though and I'm improving a lot!

Try visualizing yourself doing it. I'm not a gymnast, but I'm a dancer and a lot of times visualizing my dance or a turn or whatever I'm doing helps me do it better.
Sports4 Life I recommend to do a roundoff and then jump back onto the pit at your gym (if you have one) that is what helped me get over my mental block, because I wouldn't go for my back handspring

Work a heck of a lot on flexibility and muscles 2 make sure u r able 2 have proper form. Not having proper form can cause injuries.

I got sad cause they said recreational doing a back bend kick over and I can’t do that but I’m in the development squad which is the middle squad higher than recreational but lower that the actualy gym squad
I’m self taught but when I practice I mainly focus on flexibility so I look up good stretches on RUclips but I also do some simpler things like a flip in a trampoline or other stuff I’m still a begainner at acro type things though
I’m a tumbler but I am totally the mental blocker, in previous years I never believed in myself and I wasn’t confident at all. I would always freeze up unless a spotter was there and sometimes it could be so embarrassing. I'm better now though and I'm improving a lot!

Try visualizing yourself doing it. I'm not a gymnast, but I'm a dancer and a lot of times visualizing my dance or a turn or whatever I'm doing helps me do it better.

Sports4 Life I recommend to do a roundoff and then jump back onto the pit at your gym (if you have one) that is what helped me get over my mental block, because I wouldn't go for my back handspring
