Waterdrop effect tuturial
It was a pretty poor video, why are you showing people how to replicate something that looks like a high school project albeit high achieving... Aim higher for god's sake.
I agree with you - only plugin worthy of replicating beginning effect is MIR. I think you got that spot on which most people will just have to learn in order to understand how to control the displacement areas for animating. If I were to give you one affect to focus on - it would be the raindrop. Would love to see that recreated. Especially since TK doesn't claim to use Element or C4D, the recreation of the tunnel with the textures would be fire! Loved this one my man!

Wonder if it's possible to create the same effect in C4D using a displacement generator on a plane and gradient mapping it with a specific pattern of noise tho?

Wow, nice explanation. I like this kind of videos. Of course, it's cool to see tutorials, but this kind of videos, where you go frame by frame is very helpful because they show us that with the simplest effects (eg. that closing book and rotation on x and z) we can do a lot of things. Than you, good video

1:53 pretty sure he used cinema4D, however making that is just beginner basics in cinema.
No offence to Benn he is amazing but i wouldnt say this is the best one he has done.
