to answer your question at the 22:00 mark, yes. you can take all but one bolt out of a real engine and drive it. but only for a short time. with all the stress and torque from the engine it would eventually shear the last bolt . but the engine wont fall right out it will however it will hop around and bang under the hood. Gray, in my reply toy own comment i will provide a link to a video from my own channel of exactly what it looks like on a VW Passat with no engine mounts if you would be kind enough to verify the comment to release it from the spam filter. :)

Here's a fun one you've missed - set fire to the engine (loosen one carb bolt all the way then tighten one turn back, loosen the other three completely, then start the car and rev the nuts off of it for a minute of two). Wait for the fire to get big, which only takes a few seconds, then grab your (full) petrol can or diesel can and drop it into the engine bay. If you are holding them upright and drop them quick, they will go up like a frigging bottle rocket, contrail of fire and all. Takes about 10 or 15 seconds for the can to come back down.
Yeah the choke puts more fuel to it- makes it run rich. When the AFR is at like 16-17 it's Waaaayyyy too lean. Pulling the choke a little bit can put the AFR back to around 14 where it won't backfire
Yeah I know.. 14.7 is ideal. Always try to keep my car on the game around there but I feel like when it starts to run hot, a lower AFR will keep it from overheating even more. When I'm going on high speed runs and maxing my car out I try to keep it around 13. Seems to do alright when it's running on the hot side. And it's got different gears too, I think it has the 4.4xx gears now to get better ET at the drag strip and for rallye racing so it maxes out at ~180kph if I'm not mistaken

Hey gray next time I would like you to let out the brake fluid that lubricates the clutch and see how much shifting you can do befor the clutch goes. I know you can't talke off the brake fluid as you only get like 2 brake presses and then it's gone but dose the clutch get burned up?
I tried. I was unable to drive w/o clutch, and w/o brake fluid I was braking with engine and handbrake, I shifted from 4 to 3 when speedo was out of scale, engine was at high revs, and it turned off and never started again. Then I found a piston head. I killed the engine.
I commend you for you're efforts sir. And yes down shifting when the engine is to high will destroy it and in real life the transition as well normally.

gray ive actually seen cars with loose/no engine bolts and a low vibration engine may actually stay completly in place but it depends a lot how it sits on the mounts but its definetly possible to run a car without mounts, and without the rocker covers actually a fairly often done thing

Taking the rocker cover off is why you lost your oil and overheated. :) There wouldn't have been any fire coming out, that's all contained in the engine. If anything, there would have been fire when you took off your header. In reality, it would have torched the firewall and burnt the car to the ground. There's just a lot of oil flow under the cover. The rockers are actuated by pushrods riding on the camshaft inside the engine. The cam lifts the rod, which turns the rocker, and actuates the valve, either letting air/fuel in, or exhaust out, of the cylinder.

Gray, most cars have springs and shocks. Springs make the car able to soften blows to the suspension. Shocks stiffen the suspension reducing the bounce of the springs. Without shocks, the car will bounce lots. without springs, suspension of the car will have almost no effect.

Grey you can drop the fuel mixture by pulling "choke" oh the dashboard!
Gordon Freeman the "choke" chokes the motor so it pulls in more fuel to help it start on like a cold day

The clutch fluid operates the the clutch with no fluid the clutch won't work.

gray ive actually seen cars with loose/no engine bolts and a low vibration engine may actually stay completly in place but it depends a lot how it sits on the mounts but its definetly possible to run a car without mounts, and without the rocker covers actually a fairly often done thing

Taking the rocker cover off is why you lost your oil and overheated. :)
There wouldn't have been any fire coming out, that's all contained in the engine. If anything, there would have been fire when you took off your header. In reality, it would have torched the firewall and burnt the car to the ground.
There's just a lot of oil flow under the cover. The rockers are actuated by pushrods riding on the camshaft inside the engine. The cam lifts the rod, which turns the rocker, and actuates the valve, either letting air/fuel in, or exhaust out, of the cylinder.

Gray, most cars have springs and shocks. Springs make the car able to soften blows to the suspension. Shocks stiffen the suspension reducing the bounce of the springs. Without shocks, the car will bounce lots. without springs, suspension of the car will have almost no effect.
