Have you tried Ovitalmaps app ? We used it all the time. You can change to different satellite imagery companies ( Google, Bing etc) to pick the best image. Also it will give a location and leave a track. We have sailed Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines . We find in remote locations the Chart Plotter and Navionics are inaccurate. The best part is you can download the places you are traveling to and use it off line. We have a Bad Elf GPS that bluetooths to our laptop or iPad for added accuracy when off line. Just and idea. You guys are great. Hoping someday to sail to Palau and Micronesia when things free up.

Hello Simon. SAS Planet is free. No charge. You can google and find the link. I'll be doing a video specifically on SAS Planet and how to use with boat navigation in the near future.
