allot of how far a object travels in a strong tornado has to do with amount of down-force that can get under the object, a naked human laying flat in a field is pretty aerodynamic and probably would not get thrown to far. But having a tractor trailer land on you is certain and instant death.... That's why a a strong tornado in a empty field is allot less dangerous than a weak tornado in a city, it is the debris that make a tornado deadly.. not the wind speed
