I love how you explain everything simply. You don’t talk 100 miles an hour like a certain other Chinese food channel. You make it easy and understandable. Everything you make looks delicious!!! Much love!!!
Oh, and I can"t say enough about her wok. Every dish I cook in it woks perfectly. The best stir fry action you could ever want; no matter how seasoned the wok is. The hammer is perfecto!!!
@@loveamerica5725 I like your tag. Use a low smoke point oil to make the polymerization occur at a lower temp. I didn't realize that and used sunflower oil that needs a real high temp, but holds up good. I think you will always have the need to develop seasoning over time, because it is raw steel, much like a cast iron skillet. My wife goes ballistic when people wash her cast iron in soap. She has reseasoned those many times compared to my wok. Fresno, CA
This looks so pretty! Thank you for the recipe! I usually make my bone broth in the pressure cooker to cut down on time. I still do a pre boil and rinse, then dump everything in the clean instant pot with fresh water. Hour and a half and my stock tastes like I cooked it all day! So good
Thank you for posting! My friend treated us out to this in our apartment not too long ago, it very refreshing! I also agree with your point. Why go to a restaurant to cook our own food buying their ingredients? We can just get our own and do this in the comfort of our home with friends and family. I am looking forward to returning the favor sometime for my friend and my family.

Thank you sooooo....much for sharing your Asian cooking techniques and food traditions with us I am a huge fan of your channel many blessings for success with all that you are doing......
Thanks Mandy for your clear instruction for the preparation of this hot pot soup. You were also very detailed in your explanation as to why we carry out certain steps, eg., blanching the various bones. Will stick to your recipe whenever I'm preparing a hot stock soup for my hot pot.
Just wanted to say that I use your wok at least a couple times a week and I love cooking with it! I followed your instructions and there is no sticking and it's a nice light weight.
Wow, looks so delicious - looks like you had lots of leftovers. I think a small induction burner would be perfect to put on the table and cook the hot pot. Also, I usually but a bit of vinegar when making stock to get some of the minerals out of the bones.
Wow, when I saw the name of the recipe. I thought..."at last, someone who dares doing it..." It must be a long one to do." Well done! Who doesn't know hot pot has never seen China. :)
Again a recipe to enjoy. Might try making it. Although, with COVID-19 measures in our area towards small business restrict availability. May have to wait.
Asian hot pot...oh my I love it so much, especially the more Schezuan styles. Been a while since I made one, but now the weather in The Netherlands is getting colder; good Idea. I like the idea of including tomato; I was not familliar with that style so far. That beef tribe...? Is that the stomach or the longues ? Don' t know if I can buy it here but I'll try. I try anything for that matter...:-) Thank you for the new inspiration Mandy. Like you , also like the comfort food of an Asian Hot pot...kind regards, I keep following you :-)
Hi beautiful chef, today I made your steamed pancake wrappers wow really hurts my arm muscles lol. I made 36 but some tore and some were a bit thick, nonetheless we will enjoy later with my pekin duck and your noodle soup, love from your friend in England
Because we are Chinese. Chinese culinary is the most complex and varying in flavour with lots of styles it’s the only cuisine that wouldn’t be bored. In fact look up man Han Quan xi. Basically means imperial meal with hundreds of menu. That is just tip of the ice berg.

Hello we love the videos and made some of the recipes/dishes. One of the recipes is the chilli oil. We love spicy dishes. So i was wondering can i use or do you have a recipe for the chilli oil in to the hotpot?
Dear Mandy, I would like to make this hot pot spicey , well not in a Chinese way because that would be too much I guess but yet some spicey...:-) What will I do to make it ? And where/when in the process ? Thank you for your advice. Regards, Just Me.
Hi, I see all kind of advice for order of cooking. If it's not spicy I hear to cook veggies first. If it is spicy with spicy oil on top then to do veggies after meat so they don't soak up all the hot oil. What is your advice?
Any well seasoned pan be it cast iron or carbon steel should have enough patina built up that cooking acidic foods like tomato base sauces in it is not going to hurt it. I probably wouldn't do it with a new pan out of the box, but if you're been building up a patina for a few months or years on a pan, it will be fine.
Looked lovely, I've never seen a Hot-Pot that wasn't just clear Stock, your Wok looks lovely, sadly in the UK it costs almost £100.00, I almost fainted lol. I do wish you lots of luck with your venture though, like you It's understated but Classy, very Classy!
Have been waiting for non-spicy hotpot base since you posted the video for the spicy one. Will you do a video about the milky pork bone hotpot base? Is it milky because bones were blended and filtered?
So glad to see this! I brought an electric two sided hot pot which I have not opened yet from Amazon. Thanks to you I can make your spicy and non spicy version now! So happy! Thank you so much for great recipes and clear instructions. Not a fan of tomato base broths can I leave out tomatoes? What substitution do you suggest?
