Thank you Ed! You are my new favorite harmonica instructor on RUclips. This excellent lesson is so awesome because you go deep into the roots of where the love for this little instrument originated. I really like that you give details for examples in what key the song is originally played in. For example, the first lick your teaching us with a C harmonica and noting that it was originally performed on an E harmonica in the original artist recording. I definitely want to explore all the range of the different keys. You rock brother!! Keep up the great work with these teaching videos!!! ~Sage
Hiya. Sonny Terry used Lip Pursing a lot, yet he would also tongue block. My suggestion would be to share excerpts from the 4 songs you are teaching, so that the students would get a better grasp of how the tunes sound. Cheers
Great, thanks for the feedback! Yes a nice idea, however I wanted to make this a pure lick tutorial rather than stylistic listening analysis, obviously people can go check out the recordings on their own. Great idea for another video though to get deeper into each style, Many thanks All the best. Ed
