The Catholic Church is the only place where I have found a teaching that explains suffering from a Christian perspective and what positive thing we can do with it. Many who scoff are the very souls who unknowingly benefit eternally from the prayers of those who humbly offer up their sufferings to the Lord for them. It’s been life changing for me to learn to offer up my own pain in prayer for others and especially satisfying to offer up for the proud, selfish and self righteous, (which I am guilty of all three of those), who don’t realize the danger they put themselves in. Do I understand it? No, not completely. Do I believe it is of value in God’s Kingdom? Yep! Can suffering actually be the mercy of Jesus? In my case, though it has been miserable, I now see it as Gods love for me and an answer to prayer. When I hear this woman’s story I think of Mary the mother of our Lord. Her love for God is huge.

It is because of this woman and her Holy visions that "The Passion of Christ" was written and filmed. Jesus "will never leave us"..everyone else WILL. The Bible tells us to make up what is lacking in Christ's sufferings though Christ's sufferings lack nothing. This is very clear. Jesus sufferings do not need ours as his is sufficient.Jesus invites us however not just the great Saints like St.Anne Catherine Emmerich to suffer for souls. St. Anne Catherine Emmerich was a woman who was remarkable in taking up invitation of Jesus Christ to follow him and carry her cross after her Lord and ours for the sake of souls. St.Paul says tells us in scripture that he was being poured out as an oblation and a living sacrifice for the sake of the elect so that they may be saved. So don't tell me this woman wasn't living the bible.

You do realise that the Holy Bible is a product of the Catholic church from the 4th century. Yes, they do know what it says since they compiled, edited and translated it into one language, Latin. Are you aware that monks laboured away in scriptoriums of Monasteries making copies of the bible for a thousand years. It took 2 years to complete one copy. All so we could have the Bible in perpetuity. Catholic teachings ARE scripturally based. Read the catechism and you will see the continual references to Holy scripture. Alongside scripture is Sacred Tradition which non Catholics deny. Before the Bible existed the truth of Christ's teachings was spread orally......Jesus said, go forth and PREACH to all nations. The Bible is not the whole picture. St. Anne Catherine Emmerich was a woman who was remarkable in taking up invitation of Jesus Christ to follow him and carry her cross after her Lord and ours for the sake of souls.
St.Paul says tells us in scripture that he was being poured out as an oblation and a living sacrifice for the sake of the elect so that they may be saved. So don't tell me this woman wasn't living the bible.

Brentano was a huge celebrity in the worlds of philology, literature and publication.
For him to set his world aside to humbly sit at her side as a secretary taking notes...was fantastic...especially in a culture so very proud of their caste system.

The message is not chastising the good Catholics but the perversion at the top of the hierarchy and I add; the blasphemous mouth of the current Pope.
When I began to see the Catholic church for what it is in our modern world knowing how evil it was throughout its history, it still took me several years of proper research, reading, verifying and comparing with the guidance of the Holy Spirit in my new found Christianity to believe what I had read.
This criticism is not against the church nor the good Catholics as all my family is Catholic but what has happened since Vatican II under the direction of Pope John XXIII.
This was the beginning of what was prophesied by two Popes, father Malachi, Fatima, La Sallete, and Akita among others and it is what we are living in today's church.
What communion do we have with paganism, pantheism, agnosticism, Islam, Judaism and atheism; none!
How about prophecy? It clearly tells us about the " Great Fallout " of the end times and the apostasy and the glamour and trickery by which it will be introduced and the way that many of the elect will embrace and fall for it.
I made a promise to God when Dad passed away to reach out to my Catholic brothers and sisters as a watcher.

You do realise that the Holy Bible is a product of the Catholic church from the 4th century. Yes, they do know what it says since they compiled, edited and translated it into one language, Latin. Are you aware that monks laboured away in scriptoriums of Monasteries making copies of the bible for a thousand years. It took 2 years to complete one copy. All so we could have the Bible in perpetuity. Catholic teachings ARE scripturally based. Read the catechism and you will see the continual references to Holy scripture. Alongside scripture is Sacred Tradition which non Catholics deny. Before the Bible existed the truth of Christ's teachings was spread orally......Jesus said, go forth and PREACH to all nations. The Bible is not the whole picture. St Paul said; there are not enough books in all the world to contain all that Jesus said and done, hence the knowledge we have acquired from SACRED TRADITION along with the Bible gives us a fuller meaning of what is divinely inspired.
