i love what you are doing! i hope you keep putting up classes until we can get to some intermediate ballet level . a lot of channels out there have no patience to truly put together the whole package for someone who wants to learn from home. I have been taking ballet for years. Stopped for 5 years and I am literally taking your absolute beginner classes to get my muscles back in shape and it is truly truly a great class. You have a gift of teaching ballet with grace and patience for those starting out :)
She really is the best, isn't she? All of the other ballet teachers go much too fast and assume too much. Thuan breaks every movement down into its smallest component movements and sequences them flawlessly. I've never seen a better progression of exercises for a beginner!
I just did this one from start to finish. It's quite good. The exercises are easy to follow. Here's why: 1. The demonstrations are well done. 2. The verbal instructions are good. They are easy to understand because the sound quality is good. They help me follow along without staring at the screen. 3. The music fits the exercises perfectly and the sound level and quality is good. 4. Your energy level and enthusiasm is great, and helps with motivation. ,,, However, the video quality would be even better if you could get a darker cover for the window behind you. The backlight glare is a little strong and makes it harder to see what you are doing. That's a minor detail though. Thanks for this!

I had to stop dancing for 5 years because of an illness, now that I'm better I didn't dare to start again because I lost everything and no club around me accepts beginners when they are 15 years old :,) Your lessons help me to regain my confidence, to find my passion and to work to find my level again ^^ (sorry for my English btw, I'm French :,) )

Your voice sound so calm even when you was moving, but way you breathing kinda unfit with movement that made you tired easily. Thank you for the lesson, that is so kind of you . Love ❤️

Just came here to say how much I appreciate you. I started taking ballet this August and wow! The local adult beginner classes assume I had existing knowledge. The pace of class is very fast with minimal explanation. I’m trying to keep an open mind but I much prefer your videos to in person class. I practice nearly every day with you outside of class and have noticed an improvement in my balance and flexibility. Thank you for being part of my journey and providing much more detail than I’ve gained locally.
I have followed all the videos from the Absolute Beginner Class 1. Great teaching and I learned a lot. My plan is spending two more weeks on the Absolute Beginner series and moving on to the next level (the Beginner Class series). I will keep practicing along with the videos as you upload!
