I think its superstrange that DR Phil doesnt criticise Jasmine for spreading the naked photos. This isnt the first time he chooses to se things in black and white. This reminds me of myself because she keeps saying "if that makes sense". It's hard for her to even put into words what is happening inside her head. I was driven into my head because of continuous childhood trauma and that always seemed more real to me than the outside. I could understand that other people had a shared reality but I wasn't sure that mine was any less valid. I was never sure if what I was saying made any sense to the people I was talking to. I also had partial seizures throughout my childhood, never diagnosed. I had these bizarre things that I would see, like psychedelic experiences, come out of nowhere and if I tried to tell anyone they would think I was the craziest person ever. So, most of the time, I told no one.
There really is a missing link here somewhere. There had to have been some form of positive contact between them in order for her to attach to jasmine. I do not believe that she would develop this scenario of a relationship in her mind with all negative feedback. Something is not being said right now about jasmines full part. I think yes she is being made a spectacle here, and I’ve lost faith in dr Phil as I see him now as making her out to be the one with the problem and totally delusional.
Some of it is reminiscent of Schizophrenia. Particularly the bit where she said that Jasmine deleting photos was some sort of message to her. That at least appears to be thoroughly irrational, in a schizophrenic sort of way.
