once they fix the topaz shard i believe at 75% you should be able to hit total reds without adarza. I really like a companion good at cc and priming. Helping mesa dps due to galvanized shot. Theres a lot to consider when making mesa work.
Velocity is the best arcane for her 100% and I can't imagine her without that arcane anymore
Avenger w/ combat discipline is a very close second imo.
Secondary Outburst is still the most important thing you can use to increase Peacemaker damage. With the wally update, at least you don't have to farm in Duviri for it, just cash in some acolyte arcanes you probably have hundreds of.
I personally like using the topaz shards on Oberon
energy nexus i think you may have got from the survival with us the other day. it drops there i got several of them.

I plan to, but not until they are 100% working as intended because currently they are all bugged in 1 way or another
The Energy Nexus mod dropped from the Voidrig Mech on the new map, it’s pretty strong with Nourish imo. As for the shards, I wonder if they stack each other, like running 5 times the shards, does this means you get 5 times 75% more heat damage on pistols? I am curious

Does 5 topaz on mesa make a difference?
I hope they fix the shards soon, i want to slap two of them on mesa as i feel +100% is good enough, i don't use mesa often enough to justify more than that. Especially when im getting no archon shards from the netracells 🙄
The max is 75%** you cant add any more shards to improve it past that. I saw a post on reddit where a guy put 5 tauforged topaz and his capped crit bonus was still 50 TOTAL lol Maybe it will if they fix it. If they do i agree x100% would be awesome!
It's because the shards are not stacking at all, and tauforged only give 50 still. The max will be 250% with a full set of normal ones once fixed @@wellplayedninjas

Have you considered adding corrosive plus shard for ability damaage
mesa kills way too fast to take advantage of any armor strip in most content. if you plan to go well into the higher level like level 500+ it'll probably be worth using.
I tried both a corrosive shard mesa with a corrosive heat build and a rad toxin build with archon continuity and in both cases the kill rate felt the same, and didn't armor strip any faster than normal. It's probably better for much higher level content, but even at the highest level of armor you can get on the steel path they usually die before then, mostly due to her status being bad.
We could really use some sort of flat +status shard or arcane effect now and give her weapons proper status.

@@wellplayedninjas I wasn't implying the armor strip.. i said "ability damage" its a multiplier .
@@rudycastillo4150 In my testing, the ability damage shard (for corrosive procs at least, haven't tried the radiation shard) didn't affect mesa's regulators.
If you run heat damage on the regulators, then I would recommend Argon Vitality for the double heat damage, I just forgot to mention earlier. Or is this on purpose?
It only adds an additional heat proc, not directly increasing the dmg. Until the orange shard works properly i wouldnt mod for heat on her 4 yet. I mentioned this in the video

Looks that way from my testing. Over 28% is always when i start seeing orange crits on my Mesa with 72% crit chance on regulators

Also you get lots of endo from these bounties, you don't have any excuse anymore not to max your mods lol

So... they fixed it. And now the cap also stacks, so... you are looking at 375% CC with 5 tauforged shards...
