Nah, Pot sucks ass. I have been playing XRD pot since 2016, he sucks. His problem is his defense and pressure suck. His damage is great, and his neutral isnt bad, but defense and pressure suck.
@@Vernafveik He's low tier, but by Guilty Gear standards that just means he struggles more. This isn't like SFV Zangief where he's practically useless and just has horrible tools. Potemkin can absolutely destroy you when he gets it, he just needs to create an opportunity to get in

I genuinely don't care where Pot lands on the tier list in any game he's in. I play characters that make me happy, and Pot takes all my sorrows and suplexes them for me.
Imagine if we had both fullscreen Strive hammerfall and instant Xrd HFB. Better yet, ultra pot with AC air buster and vacuum 2S, Xrd HFB and Trishula and Strive Hf, Garuda and Heat Tackle. There wouldn’t be enough Ss on the Tierlist for Pot.
Those I.C.M.P. and jump cancels comboes make me wish they didnt remove them from Strive... But at least we've got an Xrd netcode update, which is nice.
Xrd Pot looks a lot more fun to play than Strive's with him flying around and having somewhat more mobility in general. Strive Potemkin is literally just you either demolish the opponent in 2 seconds or you get combo'd to oblivion without being able to do anything entire match.
nahh xrd potemkin is way worse on defense, with hammerfall not reaching fullscreen, slide head not armored, and no defensive RC that immediately leads to strike/throw for pot you'll get combo'd for a lot longer especially because Xrd doesn't have wallbreaks while having less damage in comparison to strive and guaranteed stagger if combos are long enough
A random opinion - I think Xrd looks better than Strive Strive adds way too much detail to its models, so it breaks the 2D illusion where Xrd does not I mean look at them heavenly moves

I really miss old Potemkin, someone should create a skin or something to bring him back to life. I don't like this new design at all, it's not him. I feel like they ruined my favorite character. I don't understand why so many people love this new design. I know it's related to the story, but... Can't they enable her old look as an alternate costume?
I dont mind his old design at all and I think it fits his original proportions more than this xrd one. But ever since they changed his body to make him more beefy and made his head smaller this new design shines alot more. He almost looks like a cyborg or even a small mech but the fact that he's human makes it all the more scary.
