this is a cool little gadget for for those times when you are travelling or are having a beat block thanks for the review I will definitely check this device out
It is real that we are limited only by imagination in this future we are living. I know nothing about music theory yet I can make an entire track playing just ONE note/chord because my ear is so sensible and trained I can easily create harmonies and make music work and desirable. Now that I know this thing exist I can put myself to work and go bonkers with experimental stuff. Latest VST I knew like this one is “ The Mouth “ by Native Instruments but it’s more like a synthy-vocoder not a Mic Controller. This is AWESOME.
I've been thinking about this for decades and using it in Ableton (don't know what DAW you use) since Ableton came out with audio to MIDI. A tip for anyone trying this - HUMMING works really well and SELDOM delivers false notes. I just watched another review of Dubler by a very good, trained classical musician and this person said that Ableton does much the same thing. What's your opinion? Dubler might get monthly software upgrades to eliminate things like its slight latency and also updates might improve voice recognition. Ableton will not. Do you think this does the same thing Ableton has done for years enough 'better,' to justify the outlay? (In this case the cost is pretty low for Dubler but no need buying something unless it's WAY ahead of Ableton.) Thanks.
Am 16 my dream is to became a producer I have tons of melody in my head but I really need this but my parents wont buy they just ignore me and wont believe in me if I have this I know I can prove them wrong amazing video I believe no matter what u should follow your dream I just wish I had this I wont ask for nothing more 😞stay safe everyone ❤😞

When covid chills a bit, get out there and make some bank bro. It feels like it doesn't add up to much at first but getting a job and doing it for a while will net you enough over a month or so to comfortably afford this and more music gear. If you have a computer/laptop, take a look at Reaper. That's a piece of kit that's free to use, like Ableton or Logic, and can be just as powerful once you get to know it. Learn about MIDI, how it works, how to use it, etc. You can get started with musical ideas there. It'll be slow to start for sure, but you can slowly build it up and get used to the basics and all that. If you're still at school, head to the music department and talk to some of the students/teachers there, see if there's any tips, tricks, discounts on gear, etc. that they know about in the area. Find some resources in your local library to study some basic music theory, and dive into how sound and music actually works. Then, you can start writing your ideas down with just some paper and a pencil. You can channel that creativity for all the melodies you create if you want - it'll be hard yards, but I believe in you. If I can manage to pick it up, anyone can. Godspeed man.

Your channel has star potential, but never forget there is a fine line between reviews and ads...you and your subscribers will have to find the balance. Old heads know audio to midi has always been the holy grail, and there have been audio to midi software and plugins for 15+ years. Problem is they are extremely sensitive to vocal types and intonation. So you have to learn to sing the way each software wants you to. Also, they are very ineffective for velocity without a breath sensor. The end result is that none of them track that well. So you have to mess around in the piano roll deleting notes, changing note length, and creating velocity curves. This all adds up to a significant amount of time. Uintuitively, most people find its usually actually faster to transcribe whats in ur head manually, and learn to play it with ur fingers. It is rarely the immediacy that people think its going to be. They bundled the software with hardware to prevent piracy, which I can understand, ..but unfortunately, that also means you cant demo. So before people go plunking 300 bills down, ur best bet is to demo all the leading audio to midi software and plugins first, to familiarize yourself with the limitations and workflow. Especially if they don't offer returns.
