  • As Hosni Mubarak lies on his deathbed, The Family offers a fresh perspective on the history and inner workings of the former Egyptian president, his wife and his family. The story of Mubarak - along with his wife Suzanne and their two sons Alaa and Gamal - is a tale of politics, power, ambition and greed. The Family includes testimony from those who served with Mubarak as well as members of his family and inner circle and photographs from the family album.

I dont find anything to crucify President Mubarak
He seems to be a decent sort of fellow
Unlike Saddam and many other in the Arab world
God bless him and his family
If indeed he has committed some fault , he is after all human
    And compared to Saddams sons

The clear bias in this documentary in the narrative and the choice of guests who had personal issues with Mubarak is of no surprise given the bitterness of Qatar's sheikh towards Mubarak who supported his father when he overthrew him. what is more ridiculous is the historical "misfacts" such as how the constitution was amended to allow Mubarak to run for a 3rd term. In reality, and a well known fact to all Egyptians, the constitution was amended in 1980 to allow Sadat to run for his 3rd term.
