About the show:
Marimayam is a sitcom aired on Mazhavil Manorama that depicts certain real public incidents that common people come across. This popular comedy show conveys a real picture of government offices in Kerala.
Marimayam uses humour and satire to tug at the red tape that entangles people in rules and regulation. The show highlights sleaze, incompetence and delay in government offices, public and private institutions. The series shows the common man and his woes as he runs from one office to the other in search of a solution to his problems. Sathyasheelan, Koya, Valsala, Mandodari and Syamala, all characters in the show, highlight how red tape often strangles the common man or ties him in knots.

Glad to see 'Valsala' and 'Moidu' after a long gap.
I have seen so many negative comments about Valsala..like.. arrogant, over-acting, incapable to act etc. The same applies to 'Lolithan' too. I wonder what such viewers are observing. Every character is supposed to and has a unique way to deliver the dialogue as well as act to justify the sequence of events and according to me, they are doing their best and simply outstanding.
The only two issues I found was improper editing due to which camera/cameraman is visible in several episodes and some episodes are made without doing proper study of the real life procedures.
Anyway, 'Marimayam' and 'Aliyan v/s 'Aliyan' are jewels of this channel which gives great relief to our regular stress through their humourous depiction of corruption in government offices and real life incidents. Best wishes to all to continue your programmes forever.
