In so many ways I feel like the possessed man roaming the graveyard. I’m 19, currently in college battling depression. Not sure what to make of my life that I will be happy with, it just doesn’t feel satisfying to me to graduate and be an adult. To top it all off, I am lonely, roommate moved out I have no one to talk to unless it’s on Xbox online. I feel like my dorm is my tomb that I’ve lost my sanity in. When Joel mentioned that the man could have had moments of sanity and thought about being home again I felt so much pain because that’s the way I feel now. I’m separated from family hours away with a truck that is broken down. I am still faithful, this reminded me to keep this faith fortified and I know I’ll pass this semester, see my family again, and have a promising next 3 years at my college. Please pray for me if you could!
@oron280. The reason for your depression is common to young people going away from their families who have been EVERYTHING to them. Now you’re all alone in the graveyard, no one to talk to and THIS is why you’re depressed. When you’re depressed it makes everything look dull and grey, you don’t see a way out. If you weren’t depressed you would be full of hope, enjoying yourself and all the new experiences just like if you were back home, before you left home. Please don’t go on to the next step and start thinking there’s something wrong with YOU. I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE. You have 3 options 1-Do whatever it takes to stay in contact with your family, get the transport sorted! Zoom calls etc. 2- or pray for a excellent roommate with a lovely family. This happened to me and worse still as a young girl of 19 alone in another country, my sisters had gone1 to friends in England and I back home to my parents. I was so depressed and I didn’t know why. I concluded that there was something mentally wrong with me. Then I was tricked by an older predator who drugged me. This ruined my life so badly, I never got properly over it. I m against children going away to far off colleges . They get into drugs, promiscuous etc all because they’re lonely and without support. SOMEHOW You have to solve THAT problem. Joel tells how his son Johnathan when he went to college what they prayed for him and what happened. There has to be GOOD PEOPLE there for you or the BAD ones will fill their place. Keep listening to Joel. He knows what he is talking about, and he’s the honest, decent type of person you need to be around. Transfer to Texas if possible and attend Lakewood Church as well as college, you’ll never regret it. THE ANSWER TO ALL YOUR PROBLEMS IS THAT YOU MUST BE AROUND DECENT PEOPLE LIKE JOEL AND HIS FAMILY. Try making new friends, join some clubs. Find a church or Christian club. It helps. I'm overseas away from my family, and I feel lonely too, but I began to set up a social network, and it's so useful. Facetime ur loved ones, it goes a long way.
I'm from Norfolk, Virginia and I'm watching the Joel Osteen Ministries on RUclips right now and I plan to go to Houston, Texas and go to his church next year in 2023 and I will have my mom go with me to Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas and see Pastor Joel and Victoria Osteen.

Thank you sooo much for this. As I woke at 544am I was very sad, which I am not normally like despite being home recovering from a car accident by a drunk driver almost 3 years ago. My heart was heavy and I had begun crying as this morning immediately upon waking I was missing my little boy who was with his dad, who left shortly after the accident. I have a lot of isolation and loneliness these last 3 years. My heart was hurting for all the memories I have missed in making with my little boy because I am still stuck at home, almost never leaving working to recover and rebuild with very little support. I can feel the force of darkness as Joel said and working to trust, as God did tell me the night of the accident everything would be ok. As I laid here crying and praying realizing he will be 10 in 7 short months and trying to make sense of the why to everything I decided to see what might be on RUclips. This was first in my feed 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. I listen regularly ( many several times) and have never heard this one. I am starting to listen to this. It has been a year since my car accident and i deal with chronic pain everyday, severe. I know the enemy is threatened by me because i have overcome many things 😘 you can too! I started a youtube channel because of all the chronic pain i have been dealing with and using it to help others.
This was a major breakthrough message for me today. I grew up in church, and got sidetracked somehow over the years. Overcome with depression, and addiction during my marriage after 10 years, and couldn't seem to pull out. 15 years later, now God has healed me, and today gave me answers as to why I was going thru what I was going thru. Even though I have been a faithful follower of Christ. The last 2 years have been the hardest years of my life, but my wife, and I now am beginning to understand the big picture. God has been leading me to my destination all along. He has something great for me to do for him. I dont know yet what it is, but I know He does. Thank you Joel. This message was tailor made for me today. He has shown me a very hard lesson that I needed to learn. He has humbled me, and I praise him. Now he is going to lift me up he says. The enemy has been attacking me as well. He knows that I have a history of mental health issues and an Acoustic Neuroma in my right ear. But that hasn't stopped me from becoming the worship drummer in my church. All praises be to Jesus for healing me. Amen.

We need to cooperate with God we cannot walk in rebellion and still expect God's plan to be fulfilled in our lives. We need to walk with God and obedience to God to see God's plan fulfilled in our life. We need to make the right confessions. Speak God's word continually. If we constantly confess the negative we will thwart God's plan..
We don't cooperate with God, we are to **obey** Him.
I will cooperate with God by obeying the Holy Spirit. Jesus said the father is in me as I am in you I believe that think of it as a dance between two people who must keep in step with each other at all times. The greatest gift we can give God is the gift of cooperation. To mirror exactly what we see our Father doing.

Thank you sooo much for this. As I woke at 544am I was very sad, which I am not normally like despite being home recovering from a car accident by a drunk driver almost 3 years ago. My heart was heavy and I had begun crying as this morning immediately upon waking I was missing my little boy who was with his dad, who left shortly after the accident. I have a lot of isolation and loneliness these last 3 years. My heart was hurting for all the memories I have missed in making with my little boy because I am still stuck at home, almost never leaving working to recover and rebuild with very little support. I can feel the force of darkness as Joel said and working to trust, as God did tell me the night of the accident everything would be ok. As I laid here crying and praying realizing he will be 10 in 7 short months and trying to make sense of the why to everything I decided to see what might be on RUclips. This was first in my feed 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. I listen regularly ( many several times) and have never heard this one. I am in awe of God and pastor Joel for delivering exactly what I needed to remind me to continue forward. Thank you Jesus!! Amen 🙏🌟🙏

I am starting to listen to this. It has been a year since my car accident and i deal with chronic pain everyday, severe. I know the enemy is threatened by me because i have overcome many things 😘 you can too! I started a youtube channel because of all the chronic pain i have been dealing with and using it to help others.

This was a major breakthrough message for me today. I grew up in church, and got sidetracked somehow over the years. Overcome with depression, and addiction during my marriage after 10 years, and couldn't seem to pull out. 15 years later, now God has healed me, and today gave me answers as to why I was going thru what I was going thru. Even though I have been a faithful follower of Christ. The last 2 years have been the hardest years of my life, but my wife, and I now am beginning to understand the big picture. God has been leading me to my destination all along. He has something great for me to do for him. I dont know yet what it is, but I know He does. Thank you Joel. This message was tailor made for me today. He has shown me a very hard lesson that I needed to learn. He has humbled me, and I praise him. Now he is going to lift me up he says. Not for fame or fortune, but for his calling on my life. Please pray that it will soon be revealed. I am free again. I was lost, but now am found. Thank you Jesus, and thank you Joel for being his messenger!

The last week of my life has completely uprooted what I believed to be true. I watched your Saturday night service, and it really put stuff into perspective. I just watched this mornings service and it solidified the correctness of my actions. I am such a strong person and am so proud of myself, I know I have just stepped into the door to my promised Land...and boy was the enemy sure after me in the most personal way. I found joel while I was in jail on my way to prison I ended up going to fort Dodge prison in Iowa I watched a lot of TD Jakes and Joel and there's actually a few rap songs that I listen to and they're not Christian rappers but at the end of the songs Joel Osteen finishes the song up anyways I've been out 14 months in my life has changed drastically that's got to be the power of God
