Man watching this was the most nostalgic thing ever for me becuase i spent a long time beating isle and seeing this like a year and half of playthroughs in 3 mins just i feel the pain of every death and the joy of every success
My favorite part of this video might genuinely be 1:10, there's something that's just so funny about how the dummy breezes through the first 4 mercs, only to get absolutely *bulldozed* by commander.
I genuinely love this video, the guy just going through the game starting out as a new player and not knowing anything as starts so he learns some of the ways of dying then fights the mercs and learns how the mercs act and even running into a guy who stole the artifacts and kills him, trying to escape on the boat and it cuts off with the monster sound, not knowing about the vent in the lazer room, not knowing about the traps even looking up stuff to prevent dying and then making it to the exit protocol and getting close to TC and dying so resorts to the classical synpase. I'm not sure if you actually used a synpase or an exploit to actually fly there but if you do that makes it even better. Only thing that would make it better would perhaps be the basilisk.
compared to the old days of isle, every1 use to group together no matter who u were and with no backstabers, nor any of us having any idea what to do and simply just trying to survive. Those were the gold times for the Isle community.
I played isle like 2 times however quit quickly after being killed by Stan both times (this was around 2020) the game randomly popped up in my recommended this year and I tried it out, first run through I got a lucky double barrel shotgun spawn however was quickly betrayed, and second run I found some dude and we both got killed by mercenaries. I had to look up what the heck tc meant and then got absolutely carried when I found a lucky lobby with some really good (friendly) players. My knowledge only increased from there. This really reminds me of how isle is a progressive game, and takes time to master.

This is honestly my experience with playing the Isle glad I had a friend who was basically an expert at it He taught me so well I was able to get the plane ending before it even turned night on the first day (I think that's how quick it took)
it was so nice to spend time on the Island, this game really stuck with me, I looked at its history, I only knew it because my brother played it, today I am better than him and I have all the titles, emblems and I help others. I remember when Isle 9 came and I died like a banana through the mirror/pig. golden times
Isle in MY nutshell (I didn't watch the video yet.) Everyone is screaming either TC or TTC Trust no one if they don't have The Witness. Truth is way easier than you think. Stop using watchtower for TC. Energy guns are underrated If you get 3 artifacts in one day you are considered hacking even tho you are just good.. You don't need private servers for The Witness, public lobbies exist. Everyone fails TC because they aren't prepared by day 2. You have 5 days! TTC always fails because it is rushed, once again, you have 5 days for this! All monsters are easy to avoid. (Accept stan at day 3-5) /ascend. Fix your damn servers because I tried to do truth 10 times and when I enter the door the game crashes. Also, I can't even play anymore because the game always crashes. Mauri is life. Shotguns are underrated. Revolvers are underrated. Battle Rifle is the best weapon. Grenades are dollar store Grenade Launchers Isle Legend 3 stars shows you spent your entire life dedicated to a single game. Artifact A needs a faster cooldown. Why doesn't Artifact D have passive healing but Artifact C does? Artifact D revives you! It should heal you instead of artifact C! Why can't the mercs talk to us by radio? Yeah! It's so true, hate seeing people ruin your 40 minute run just because of exploits. I do use them but only in private servers with my friends, it's really fun we do a little made up game mode that we thought up

Well it was the hardest before isle 9, facility boat and plane are really straight forward. Facility is really simple and you can just disable all traps instantly. Plane can be done at day 1 and boat is still not that hard.

I came back and watched this video. My friends introduced me to this game in about late 2021. I absolutely got hooked to the game and now i am better. I remember the times when i started to do TC, Truth on my own, Not get scared by anything and pure knowledge made me very powerful. And i learned ALL theese things by playing ( I didn't even look for endings, places from wiki). I mostly learned the game by myself. I miss those times. Nostalgia is different for this masterpiece.

Every little detail is so true! Especially the walking in Isle! And I actually had to look at a facility map after I died so much from traps.
I have never beat the first mercenaries wave. I am getting tired of dying always for the funny gunner, but i will not give up so easily 💪.
