This is a polished product. The first ledgers are small and hard to use (for the layman). And it's made in a bear market. This really is going to be EVERYONE'S wallet in the bull market. This might be the reason why regular people enter the market. "Oh, My ledger wallet? Yeah, it was designed by the guy who designed the iPod." Please make the NFC element used for payments at POS/Eftpos machines! Like a CL card on your Stax instead of with your phone.

Nope - Ledger Stax has a trusted display, meaning that a hacker cannot display something on the screen that is different from what the user actually signs: you think you are signing for a trusted transaction but you are actually signing a malicious one. That layer of security makes it more complex to integrate e-books!

The apps for the Ledger Stax are still being tweaked, which will determine the final storage capacity. It's anticipated to be about the same as the Nano X, which can hold up to 100 different apps.
Just don't stop supporting this like you did with ledger blue. I'm sure those early adopters are quite upset. That being said this looks a phenomenal product.

What is the key use in this thing? I mean it looks great no question but I take more or less more with me in trousers then before with the Stax. I have to take anyway a wallet and a phone with me plus the Stax to verify transactions. With old ledgers I had to verify my transactions same just not in such a good looking way but I don't see out off this any other advantages.

the wireless component of this wallet its what worries me. bluetooth and nfc hacking... instead of a 5$wrench there could be a 10$wipe attack (person passes by you and robs you wirelessly)
Hi - the private keys and seed phrase are secured with our Secure Element chip, which has never been hacked. Our Nano X device has used a Bluetooth connection for years now with no security issues.

Can you guys PLEASE make firmware updateable through ledger live mobile? You pride yourself in having the most mobile ecosystem on the market but it still requires a desktop suite to update the firmware. I don't use a desktop anymore, everything I need to get done is through my tablet and smart phone. This seems like such a simple fix. Please make this happen guys.
We appreciate the feedback! Firmware can be updated on Android, and we hope to add iOS support soon. In the meantime, if you're an iOS user, it's completely safe to use a friend's or family member's computer to update the firmware.

What I want to do with my digital assets is to stake them, lend them, put into luqidity pools, govern, vote. etc. All I see here is making wallet more shiny. This might be important as well when "apple users start to use crupto), but people using digital assets are usually smart enough to handle them as they are and this is not their priority. And "cool" example on sending ethereum... people will do this maximum once after they realize gas fees are more expensive than transaction. Especially that people are used to pay no charge with visa card. Anyway I ended up with not using my nano, because I need to put my assets "to work". No one from my friends like to have their assets lying idle aanymore. This might be ok for NFTs only. I like ledger live, but it is going slow. No hbar staking, no ETA, XDC support is a joke, no flare, etc You need 3rd party wallets for almost everything, you even don't see balance...
I think cardano is the only coin I have that supports staking while sitting inside my ledger wallet. that being said, I agree with you it would be nice to be able to stake or unstake those coins from inside ledger live, not from 3rd party wallet.
The part that you are totally missing is that making Crypto "user friendly" is a REQUIREMENT to become mainstream and useful in everyday life. The common person has no care in staking and all of that other technical stuff you dream of doing. Ledger is trying to move Crypto forward and put it into 10s of millions of peoples pockets similar to Apple's iPod and iPhone. Also the more people that begin to use Crypto will decrease "gas fees" just like when the debit card became mainstream.

Fadell started with the wrong premise, you shouldn't begin by 'redesigning a ledger', you should revolutionise the UX of the crypto user. Carrying a bigger extra device makes the experience worse in many ways than the original ledger, and the Solana phone. Divergence with a bigger less portable device is a retrograde step.

Ledger has zero customer support, they sent me the nano s+ when I paided for the nano X and there's no way to get in touch with customer service they haven't responded back yet to any of my messages and they won't even let me leave a review on their website so I truly doubt any of their reviews online are real
Honestly, I prefer the Nekovault over this. At least Nekovault has a Full HD color screen, support for 450,000+ tokens/coins and has 2FA and biometric scanning
