It was as a horrible pedal Gearman. I’m not a newbie. It was awful. And I have Friedman’s, Bogner, Suhr Badger. What an expensive mess. You’ll see. People are already returning them.
Kyle McDaniel it made my amps sound like a solid state amp. I was using a Friedman smallbox limited. It’s also a pain to go thru all the settings. None sounded good imo.
@@robertjennings8723 Yes. Mine too. I thought I got it dialed in until till I turned on other overdrive pedals and realized how sterile it sounded. Unfortunately on top of that, it was glitchy when cycling through the clipping options. Sometimes it wouldn't change at all and other times it would skip over one all together. I returned it to where I got it and we A/B'd with others and it was indeed defective and not just user error. I was listening through studio monitors plugged in to a Matchless C30 fwiw.
Ryan Jones hmm I hear that it was having issues with the cycling. It was such a pain anyway to go thru them anyway. The way he has it u can easily skip thru one to the next and have to start all over again. Not only was it a pain to use as I said it sounded awful. It doesn’t take me long to get my sound. But if it’s a bad pedal it takes me forever to try and get a decent sound. For that price no way. I wouldn’t pay $30 for it.
Kyle McDaniel when I see someone with one on their board on instagram I can’t believe they’re using it. It may be a store promoting it or someone got one free it somebody has a bad sense of tone.
I use coil cables because you do! Your my favorite! And your cables are too!

there are so many other great overdrive pedals sounding so much better than this; I am disappointed; I love my JRADs
