OMG, i did this and now all my buttons are scrambled, so i tried to revert it and didnt wotk, then i selected W240 now all i have is a black screen. is there any way to factory reset it, or my complete dash comand is ruined?

I did W240 option in my R171 and the only thing is that the startup screen was black and the option you're holding over when scrolling is black/invisible. But yeah just scroll back to what you want and do the reset. Mine came back fine.

warning: whatever you do, do not put it on the “W240_USA” option. it made the screen go out on my unit (but the audio still worked, just the screen was black) i might’ve fixed it, so i will see if it’s fixed when i go out to the car again, but be warned.

@@MB-gy7bq im probably a bit late to the party but for any other latecomers who need to reset key, i have found to insert key in ignition, 2 clicks, then push open and lock button on key together for about 30 secs. Turn off and remove key and that's it. Don't know if it matters but doors were all closed but not locked during process. I have w169, might not work for others
