I already see a lot of possibilities with this bad boy, really a good thing we have trucks like this

The price's fair for the things you get. If you want more you can upgrade it. For beginners who not sure if they'll like crawling, it's a great step-in.

Thank you this was a excellent look at this truck. Mine is on the way. I have the Sendero HD & Ecto which is now a full custom rig without the original body. So I guess you can say I’m a fan of Element they just work well. The reasons I wanted this was to build it up. I like the SOA & ability to move it. But my one question is will Sendero metal links work with it probably not if it’s a longer chassis so that sucks if so but I’m sure someone will make some or maybe you could find some that would fit from a different model RC. This Element has new features that also was a huge draw but I had seen the original one with that almost same body & kept trying to get it awhile back & never found one but the body you could get. But I just liked the look of that body. I’ve also have metal beadlocks coming for it new shocks 90 mm like the originals. Can you just mount them or do you have to use the parts in the extras bag? I have a new Hobbywing 2 in 1 combo esc & motor just sitting so I’ll probably put that in. But I don’t like that with that torque it has the metal links. That is the main thing I need to do get metal links! Thanks for the look I think a lot of Crawler enthusiasts are going to pick it up & start the upgrading process.

From what I see an Element link kit will work but you will have to get rod ends. Just need 12.8 links

Links and bearings are really cheap to upgrade anyway, I have a modified Sendero HD and this will be next purchase if funds allow.

Honestly after driving it. You dont even know it doesnt have bearings. The links work. For how long is another story though.

The radio may not feel high-end but who really needs one ? It has 4ch, one being on-off-on for the servo-winch, wheel is plastic but it's not like foam would help you gripping it strong enough to prevent you from falling when you miss a root, and it's light.
Sure you can get better but it has to count in the budget ... and if budget is the goal, it's better to change the ESC for the lastest ISDT for exemple ... for less than the cheapest programmable radio, it offers you all the throttle and reverse programming directly on the ESC.
If you already have other radios, then it's another story.

I changed it mainly so I have one remote for all my trucks.

Would it be possible to turn this rig into a comp ready class 1???

Yes. Smaller tires and go chassis mount servo instead of axle mount. Should be all you need really.

Worth it's money cause it dosen't have painted or decal windows. However Fing body post grrrrr.

Most are gonna have body post. Sucks. I do actually prefer them for a lexan comp style build.
