  • Subgenre descriptions:
    Minatory is more atmospheric and hard deathstep, which consists of noise and beat with pansnare. Creator - Necrofiler.
    Postminatory is a minatory with experimental elements such as vocals, melody over noise, etc.
    Heft is a slower and much heavier deathstep. Creator - White Eyes.
    Glitchheft is a slightly slower heft, with sharper percussion and glitch effects.
    Robodeath is a hybrid subgenre of deathstep and robostep. It's deathstep with mechanical bass and mechanism sounds.

      Heft is a subgenre of deathstep. It is slower and heavier. The term "Heft" was first used by White Eyes. Sennago became the popularizer of this subgenre.

      I really forgot about the dungeon minatory, but white noise minatory and gnarly minatory are just styles, because they are not much different from regular minatory. Yes, and orchestral deathstep is that style.

      You can read the description of each sub-genre in the video description. Minatory is a Deathstep that consists mostly of noise.

      This is a deathstep with a bass similar to the rattle of mechanisms and other elements of Robostep.

    deathstep is subgenre of dubstep. every subgenre you mentioned here is still subgenre of dubstep.

      Not every dubstep is deathstep, but every deathstep is dubstep. The same goes for deathstep subgenres.

      I think no. Minatory is 100% a subgenre of deathstep. Heft is a subgenre of deathstep and robodeath too. Why can't a subgenre have a subgenre?

      @@demonicsounds2843 minatory is a subgenre of dubstep that was originally coined by the producer Moth in 2015. In other words minatory is an underground form of deathstep.
      Some of the subgernes like robostep, metalstep, vomitstep etc are considered as styles and are not actual subgenres.
      I have never heard of subgenre inside another subgenre really.

      Минатори - это поджанр дезстепа. Дезстеп - поджанр бростепа, а бростеп - поджанр дабстепа.
      Дабстеп появился в 2000-м году, а минатори появился в 2016.
      Поэтому нет, минатори не старше дабстепа.

      Melodic and liquid deathstep cannot be singled out as a separate subgenre, because it differs little from ordinary deathstep. It's more like "style" like vomitstep, wobblestep, glitchstep, robostep and so on.
