Formula for area is A=Pi x D squared divided by 4...Pi = 3.14159, so Pi x D squared..where D squared is 2 inches x 2 inches..divided by 4 = 0.7853975 (Pi is constant).
Same I want to know how to choose the gpm fo flow rate...thanks very good foundation for sizing parts.
