    Paul Kimilu was born in 1955 to Kyenze Lunga and Elizabeth Nduleve in machakos sistrict
    (now makueni county) mukaa location kiimakiu sub location. He is brother to the late Margaret
    Munee Kisuna, Peter kyenze, Judy Mutuma, Dinah Stanley kyenze, Ndunge kyenze,
    Catherine, Musau kyenze, step brother Agnes Mala,Josephine Mutungi, Mary Nduku, Phyllis
    Kilonzo, Charles kyenze and Eunice Kisilu.
    Paul attended FOB Wilson (now kiima kiu primary school) in 1965 to 1972. He was admitted to Kasikeu
    secondary school but his parents could not afford. He joined his uncle John Bosco Ndolo in Thika where he
    trained as a mechanic specialising in panel beating. He later worked in Thika from 1975 to 1977 later he joined
    conti cars in Nairobi from 1978 to 1979. He moved to Subaru Kenya 1980 to 1982. Paul quit formal
    employment 1n 1982 and established a shop in kibera Lindi his shop was known as uchimi ndogo which has
    lasted to date in fact there is now a matatu Stage know as Uchumi Ndogo.
    After the training in Thika Paul had a short stint of work in Makuyu in Murang’a where he met
    the love of his life Jane Mbithe. Together they were blessed with 6 children Grace ndulu
    Benice Wayua,Ann Nduku, Dedan kimanthi, Benson Mutiso and the late John Muuo. He had nine
    grandchildren namely: Olivia Wanza, Faith Mutheu, Ndunge Kimanthi, Jane Kimanthi, Antony Muoki,
    Myles Muuo, Ruby Muthoki, Bobby Maingi & Nigel Muthoka.
    In the latter part of his life, Paul faced a challenging battle with chronic illness since April 2022.
    His strength and resilience shone through even in the most difficult moments. Though the illness
    took its toll, he never wavered in his commitment to his family and his faith. After a long fight,
    he was admitted to Nairobi Women's Hospital ICU, where he ultimately passed away on 17th
    September 2024 at 1.30 am. Paul’s courage throughout his illness was a testmony to his character
    - a man of perseverance, bravery, and unyielding spirit. He always woke up very early to attend
    his dialysis sessions, a commitment he had through out his ailing period.
