The algebra joke took me 5yrs to figure out, and I only figured it out because my GF told me: "it's because the girl wanted to walk with the guy to algebra class". And I looked at my GF, then blinked and she told me "it was so obvious", and I just looked at her, and she said "how do you not know that", and I kept looking at her. Then she said stop playing dumb....In my mind I was thinking why didn't she just ask him to walk with her to Algebra class, but I knew if I said that out loud a fight would start and I just let that though die in my head.
