So here's a really thorough shade break down since I've noticed most shades are neutral with slight variations which can make it really hard to determine in the drugstore. Plus their naming is all over the place with this foundation. So I hope this is helpful since it is a rather expensive drugstore foundation.:

Tati, Pacifica has just put out a clean foundation called Alight. I would love to hear your thoughts, especially since it's a clean drugstore priced foundation.
That sounds really interesting. Where would I be able to find it?
I got the crystal blur foundation from them and it was horrible. It was the streakist and separated like all over it was the weirdest thing I ever saw. Never had a foundation do that. If you get this one I hope it works. But the crystal one turned me off so bad I won't get anything by Pacifica again lol
Megan Harrell pacifica is usually sold at whole foods, target, and ulta stores, but i’m not sure whether or not you can find this foundation there

Hi Tati! It’s worth noting that denatured alcohol is the fourth ingredient in this foundation, which is common for these types of long wear drugstore foundations. Denatured alcohol is a solvent or drying alcohol, versus the fatty alcohols that have emollient or textural roles in formulas. Denatured alcohol (aka “SD alcohol”) does increase the wear time of products, but it is also pro-inflammatory and can contribute to a lot of problems people want to avoid in their skin, like redness, dehydration/flakiness, and even acne. So for anyone who is looking to avoid irritants, I’d personally advise against this one. Looks lovely though! ☺️
Omg thank you! I've been trying to figure out why this foundation broke me out and made my skin dry and patchy ( no matter what moisturizers and primers I used). I have yet to find a youtuber that has a similar experience with mine so I know I'm not crazy lol

Also smells like a perfume. Tried it on my hand at the drugstore today, and definitely would never put it on my face. Can’t deny it looks beautiful in the video, though!

Hi! Could you zoom the camera in a little more when you’re doing foundation reviews? I couldn’t tell when you were talking about your dark spots or dry patches. It would just be easier to see how it lays on the skin.☺️

Before becoming a nurse I worked on an ambulance and our shifts were 24 hours...so that was the only time I wore my makeup for 24 hrs! haha shout out to female EMS workers!
LoveMistyRose I feel ya girl! I’m a paramedic and hate how my foundation wears off my nose before I’m halfway through my 24 hour shift! I feel like nurses are staring at my nose when I’m giving my report. 😂😢
Lol I'm a nurse and sometimes I'm asked to stay for OT longer than 12 hours. Never done 24 hours tho.... but I feel like this foundation will last !

Can you please please PLEASE use halo to make a sunscreen that doesn't irritate skin and looks good under makeup.
Nichole Brady look for none nano particle sunscreen. The particles are too big to sink into the skin and therefore doesn’t bother or irritate the skin. And it’s healthier because it doesn’t go into the blood stream
Try Biore Watery Essence sunscreen, I've been wearing it for years under my foundation and you literally don't see it! It's amazing
I use “Kiss My Face” sunscreen that I get from amazon. It’s vegan and goes on my face nicely without making it greasy and doesn’t break me out. Looks great under my makeup too!
I use Photoderm and it's really good, but it leaves my face paler than it is, I have olive skin tone.
Dermalogica has a good sunscreen that you can use under makeup!

I straight up hiked 6 miles and this stuff looked like I just put it on. In fact it looked better because my hike gave me a flushed look! It stayed on so nicely. Amazing.

I got this foundation based on her review and I love it. I did a wear test on a 16 hour 3PM to 7am overnight shift and it didnt start breaking down til about 4am, I do touch my face alot and I didnt use setting spray so it lasted way longer than I expected and I'm so happy I gave it a try

I do the dehydration thing, base coat, different nail polishes and always Seche Vite brand top coat and my nails look great for at least a week and sometimes even 2 weeks if I remember to put on rubber gloves when cleaning 😛

@@ladycoolone178 You should try a lash growing serum. Rodan and Fields has Lash Boost, Latisse is what I started using years ago and it has given me super long, thick and dark lashes that look better than falsies any day.

Tati, I'd love to see you try the CYO Lifeproof foundation, I know you've tried a different one by them but I've heard amazing things about that particular one and I want to hear your thoughts.

I have the most finicky skin on Earth. The only two foundations I swear by are Nars Natural Radiant Longwear and CYO Lifeproof. They are very similar and give glow from within finish that I've never found in anything else.
Edit: Milk Blur Matte Liquid is my new Holy Grail. I just learned they had a shade light enough for me and had to try it... it wins. But for drugstore nothing beats CYO.

I will say that shade matching was a NIGHTMARE, but once I figured it out this foundation has become my absolute GO TO. I use this and the ELF pore putty primer (bc I'm cheap AF) and it makes my skin look bomb!!! Love you Tati❤️❤️❤️

Tati! I just wanted you to know that after watching this video, I went out and purchased this foundation. It is incredible! I have never liked liquid foundation, but this one is just different. It didn't settle into my pours, or look cakey on my skin. I have received so many complements on how great my makeup looks since I started wearing this, so thank you for reviewing it! I am so glad to finally have a foundation that I enjoy putting on, that boosts my confidence, and actually lasts for my 14 hour work days!

ASMRShortbread I’ve been using the Dior foundation, I forget which one but it’s in the squeeze bottle with a frosted texture. I am usually combo oily and this foundation doesn’t slip or slide and I get a ton of compliments 🥰
Try the Estée Lauder Double Wear! One time I fell asleep with it on and when I woke up I’d looked like I just put it on!

Does anyone else find that drug store makeup isn't always drug store priced?
🚨🆘 Can you do full day wear wedding makeup. Id love to see what products you would use for that and what products you use to keep it looking good throughout the whole day with touch ups etc. I know beauty guru’s usually just do a tutorial on a wedding look but ive never seen a full day wear and what the day entails with how to keep it looking good for so long. Since most brides do put makeup on at 5am and wear it till like 2 am

Do youtubers really think that 7 hours is a full day? You’re by far not the only one Tati, so no hard feelings towards you, however, this is not realistic for anybody in the “real world”. Dare I say most people put their make-up on in the morning (5? 6? 7 AM) and go to work for 8, 10 or even 12 hours. The only time I can wear a foundation for 7 hours only is on the weekends and I don’t wear make-up that often then. If you want to call it a “full day”, please give it at least 12 hours. On the daily, most people wear their make-up at least for 12, more like 16 hours. Thank you!

Why would you wear makeup for 16 hours? I agree that 7 hours is not enough but 16? I wear mine for about 10.
Yes!! I would never take my face off after 7-8 hours. Super wasteful to me. 😅
mYakovleva A if you work a 12 hour day which many do especially nurses, you’ll hit 16 hours in make up no problem unless you come home immediately and take off your make up.
I work at a restaurant and work 12 hour days so I'd saying have mine on for about 14 hours or so.
Omg BEST FOUNDATION I think I’ve ever tried. I was very skeptical at first because of how runny it was. But the coverage was incredible and I don’t think I’ve ever had that much foundation left on my face at the end of the day as I did with this!! I’m terrible and habitually touch my face during the day without realizing it...amazing foundation at an amazing price!
I loooove this foundation!! It is fantastic for dry skin too 🌸 I need to find those lipsticks, they look fantastic!
If it is good for dry skin I might splurge on it cause I can never find a long lasting foundation for dry skin.

I have just recently gotten this foundation and so far i love it , i do have dry skin and it is working pretty well just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of primers and primer waters as well as setting sprays they use with there dry skin! 🙃

I bought this foundation like 2 or 3 days ago and oh my goodness it’s amazing! I have combo skin and it looks so natural and flawless it blurs my pores very well and doesn’t fade out. Usually foundations will break up on me a little in my T zone and it really didn’t. I had it on for 10+ hours yesterday and it still looked nice honestly. Even when my oil breaks through a bit it still looks good. And I love how it controls the oils without being drying or too matte. I’m super happy with it! And it has a pump 😍

I know this is sooooooooo gross and just generally unenjoyable on every level, but when I’m sick or even feel a little sickness coming on, I chew on a raw garlic clove and I’m healed. This works well for cold, sinus issues and especially strep throat. It’s unpleasant but it truly works. Also ginger, turmeric and lemon with warm water work well for a general immunity boost. I can confirm this works but I usually do it at night because then if I do it in the morning my mouth smells like garlic no matter how much I wash my mouth. Also I kinda threw up the first time I tried it so now I chew fast and swallow with water
I definitely should try this method. I have a very poor immunity and I swear you haven’t ever met a person being sick more frequently than I am. I’ve already been sick for 4 times in January and I really don’t know what to do. It pisses me off.

tchaugn, I believe you can spit it after you chewed it. But wait for an author to answer. I personally rub garlic into a slice of bread and eat it with borscht. Delicious and quite helpful, at least it is helpful for me. Temporarily.
Same except the chewing on the garlic I just put a lot of it in my food. But maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to try it uncooked.

PLEASE test the new Maybelline Mascara, it's called Snapscara. I've gone past it a million times already, but I am very indecisive AND I am scared of purchasing it, because 1- it's not waterproof and my eyes tear quite a bit due to extreme hot/cold weather conditions (it's winter and it's freezing) 2- I'm afraid of it smearing all over my face. If you are feeling low energy and have sinus congestion, try boiling a big pot of water with a few cinnamon sticks, a few pieces of fresh ginger chopped and a few spring onions chopped. After you bring it to a boil, let it sit and steep for 10 or 20 minutes, then strain. If I drink a couple cups a day, especially in the morning it really helps! This is my current favorite, it lasts all day on my oily skin. It feels light but has good coverage, at 57 I have been going for a less is more of late as well. I totally love this. I am light medium and got both Rose Beige and Natural Buff and they both look great, not yellow at all. I have no problem with the fragrance.

have you tried the Maybelline Fit Me? That one is pretty good and doesn't have the strong fragrance that the Coty Airspun does.

@@ashleymonson8832 I have no idea. I avoid photographs, but I dont think so. Other reviews I've read said it doesn't have flashback. Probably bc it isn't completely translucent and does have some color. It is also a mineral powder.

Okay I got this after seeing how much Tati loved it. Let me tell you I LOVE this 💕 I have oily skin and my skin stayed matte all day. I constantly battle foundation breaking down on my face and this held up all day long!! It was light weight with great coverage. This was honestly a godsend foundation for me.
