Black Sails is THE show for me. My excitement for most shows, even my favorite ones, fades over time. Black Sails on the other hand manages to remain infinitely thrilling to me. I love it to bits and I love these reactions.
Vane has came to steal The Fucking Warship (as named by Flint in 201). He said his price for letting Abigail go was the man o'war and he's there to take it. I love the old madam, Mrs. Mapleton. The actor who plays Jack once suggested a spin-off called "Mrs. Mapleton's Mysteries" where she went about Nassau solving crimes. 10/10 would watch that. 😂
Man more people need to react to this masterpiece of a show. It's ridiculous how underrated black sails is. Great Great reaction guys. Keep it up. I'll be here for ALL OF IT.
I love Vane, he said he’d trade the ship for the girl. He’s there to take that ship. He already has Ned Low’s ship, the Fancy. That’s how they followed Flint.
Remember the trade negotiations with Ele, Flint and Vane. Vane made the trade offer, Abagail for the Man of War. He gave up Abagail (not by choice but still) He wants the Man of War.
The opening sequence with Abigail is two folds. Yes these men are more than just the labels we put on them BUT they are still murderers and thieves lol I think the important message is the "why"...how did they get here? That's why the Billy story was there. Some of them are good men who did bad things but some are also bad men who we've seen do some good deeds. Those actions however don't erase the bad so these aren't necessarily good men, they're just not monsters.
Amber looks like she's going to cry at any moment. She was very emotional in 2*5. If I advise her, she should prepare her handkerchief for the next chapters. 2*9 and 2*10 are one of the best episodes of TV history. After that, the series goes to another level with the participation of very important historical characters. The excitement of watching this series for the first time is wonderful. I'm sure you'll only want one thing when you finish the series. Rewatch.. It's a pleasure to watch you. I'm looking forward to the next episodes.
Sadly the actor who played Dufrain passed away from brain cancer so they had to recast him. I understand not being able to connect to a new person though after getting so used to one actor.
Abigail Ashe is underrated. She and Thomas Hamilton are the only two significant characters on this show whom I consider totally innocent of wrongdoing.

I’m 100% with you on Dufrain. I couldn’t connect with or care about the new actor. I really liked the actor for S1.
