Definitely Pixies-influenced, but I also hear a hint of Whiskeytown-era alt-country in it. On a side note, I have no clear idea of what the lyrics are about but the first thought that came to mind was that “Mama” is Mother Earth and it’s a song about humanity packing up for another planet due to environmental destruction.
