Hello and welcome back to my fixer-upper whole house remodel project! Today's episode includes part 1 of the kitchen remodel. Not sure what I've gotten myself into but I just purchased this fixer-upper and I'm going to be remodeling the entire thing and filming the process. Feel free to follow along! This is my first time flipping a house but I have a feeling by the end of the process I'll want to stick around for a while so we'll see what happens. Subscribe and stay tuned for the next episode! That counter top coating was a surprise success. I like how well you’ve got the concept of a flip - make it look nice without doung major rebuilds of anything unnecessary. I know it is tempting to make somewhere ‘like you would want it’ but if the money isn’t in the project then doing a great job of simply tidying somewhere up and modernising the look is exactly what the focus needs to be. It took me a few projects before I had to just accept I’m a new build & major renovation designer / builder - just can’t pull back enough for flips! Well done 🙂

Dang, what a horrible surprise in the middle of progress, for your organs to go out! Glad to see you made it, and hope you're feeling much better. I'm finding myself watching your reno eps twice, just to keep them going. The format's really good, and I'm greatly relieved that it hasn't been a pure sledgehammer fiesta. Even some of the old base cabinets survived, and that's awesome. Thank you for the effort to film and post your work! It's been fun to watch!

You're a little crazy with that quarter round everywhere.... I think just caulking would be a better choice for your inside corners. Especially the counter to wall part.
