  • The third round reaches its conclusion at the Miami Open presented by Itau on Monday, as #NextGenATP Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz takes on 2014 US Open champion Marin Cilic.
Alcaraz has started 2022 in red-hot form. He picked up his maiden ATP 500 title on the Rio clay in February and surged to the semi-finals in Indian Wells without dropping a set before being edged out by Rafael Nadal.

This court level view is EXCELLENT! Thank you so much for this video.
You can feel the ball much bether and notice variations in the game. Alcaraz is specialist in VARIATIONS and in changing the rhythm in the game.
He is so mature in his head and have good anticipation and fast thinking.
This combination of characteristics with his healthy body is deadly combination for each opponent!

This boy comes with his broom , the number one spot is waiting for him my bet is that this year he'll win a grand at least I would say RG or USO or both , he has it all, he will end the year within top 4 , he is going to beat everyone , Nole and Rafa of course

Anyone else who notices how Cilic uses a forehand grip for his backhand?

Thank you for loading this up. Much appreciated - this perspective.
Wow - first set was close. I feel Cilic wasted a lot of points not coming to the net. 1st set cud have been either way
