That little white cup with the hole, you saw at Salvation Army is an automatic water dish for small pets like hamsters.

I enjoy you and your sisters and your mom and husband, too, when they're along. My 2 sisters and a niece and I live over an hour away from each other, but we often go thrift shopping together and have lunch. My husband is the only male in the group, and he loves thrifting, too. We all have different interests, but how fun! Like you, I love old furniture, dishes, lamps, etc.

I went to my “first” Goodwill bin and picked up a small oak desk for $10. Before I could get it into the house my husband was touching up the dinks. He kept saying the wood and hardware was worth way more that that! 🤣🤣

I love washstands too, I use them for nightstands and end tables. I have one I found that is all hand cut dovetails so I know someone made that by hand.

Cindy, thank you for including the addresses of the stores. I usually don't go to Milford for thrifting but I will now. And i had no idea we had a bins store in De. My thrifting usually is in Lewes or Rehoboth where I live. Love that you and your sisters all love thrifting. Enjoy your channel.
Thanks Sue! I did a search for the bins in Delaware and we have one. I was surprised. I will definatley go again. Milford has some good thrifting options although Goodwill is getting kinda pricey. They have senior citizen day every Wednesday! Thanks for watching :)
The closest bins store is 2 hrs. away , so no i haven't been . Have my gloves in my truck just in case. How lucky you are to live close to your sisters & are able to go out thrifting! Good that you all get along !! I always look at the linens 1st , then furniture , then the home goods . Can't resist sewing/ craft supplies ! After that , I tend to look @ the clothes/ shoes , jewelry & books 📚. I also can't resist linen shirts & baskets/ containers for storage . Thanks ! Xox

Well, looks like everyone found some great goodies that will add to their home. Cindy, I’m happy to see you bought that vintage strainer. I definitely loved that. There’s just somethings I just love from the past. That couch was a nice looking. Loved all the wood details on it. Yep, furniture is my hang up. I too have 3 washstand commodes. I just refinished one that someone painted turquoise. It was all solid oak n must admit it turned out so pretty. Wish there was a way I could send a picture of it. I know you’d love it too.
Unfortunately my town doesn’t have many thrift stores. Our Goodwill has gone so commercial n the prices are ridiculous. But I do stop in every now n then. Salvation is better. On Mondays they have half off for all seniors. I do try to get there more often. But seriously I shouldn’t. I’ve got so much of this n that. I’m beginning to look like Sanford &Sons 😅. Oh well, it keeps me busy n out of trouble.

Soak that linen table cloth in some full strength Awesome, a cup of Oxy clean powder and water. Just keep checking till stain is gone. I did that on a white blouse where there was a mustard stain that had been washed and dried. It took it right out. I only soaked it for 24 hours.

I like old storage containers (metal, wired, wicker), I also like oblong trays) and women’s tops and capri pants, yoga pants.

My weakness is anything that has birds and baskets,lol. I was at a thrift shop today called Do Unto Others. They get very nice things because of their location and the people there are sooo nice. Didnt get anything but then stopped at s open box store snd I scored 3 bluebirds for $1.30. Yay. Sure enjoyed going with you and your sister.

I love shopping at the GW Outlet/Bin stores. In fact, I'm addicted!!! You can't beat the prices and you never know what you might find!!! Fun, fun, fun!!

I just started going to the bins. We moved last year and I live.5 miles from the bins. At first I was apprehensive about going but now it’s an adventure! I look for old linens. I found a hand made quilt signed by the maker. $2.80 what a score 🎉 it was perfect no stains or wear. So happy for you having sisters sharing your fun.

Lanterns that hold candles all kinds shapes, colors and couch throws of which I have stacks and stacks. Anything that can be used is a tablecloth. The sheet of throw a blanket and anything that is different. My house is full of eclectic items. Thank you for the video. Very interesting and fun!😻

This was so much fun to watch. I can't resist knick knacks, Christmas items and decorative picture frames. I also like to find souvenir items from places that I have been. It was so good to see you all. I'm from Maple Village too and Laurie and I have several elementary school pictures together. My sister Janie is a friend of Patty's.

Ive been to the Bins there in New Castle once. It was fun, but I prefer thrift stores.

I love thrifting, but I almost always have to go alone. I'll thrift for anything I happen to need, but I look at everything just in case. I even get my magazines there. It's a treasure hunt! I laughed when you said your sister hitthe mother load because that's what I always tell my husband when I have a good day thrifting or garage sale shopping.😂

Fun time shopping! I love vintage/antique. There are no bins for shopping around here. I wish there were some I would go. Can't find washstands either. I would love to have one.
We have this one Goodwill bins and it’s about an hour north of us. It was worth the travel. I wish you could find a washstand Gerry! They are such a useful piece of furniture.😊
I live minutes away from these bins and probably go once a week.

I prefer the regular thrift stores, but I have found a few things at the bins, it just feels so dirty, I always wear gloves.

What thrift shop in the Sussex county area has the best selection of women's clothing that are not outdated?
brands like Old Navy, Zara, Urban Outfitters, Express, etc?
I’m not usually shopping for clothing items so I’m not much help! Often Goodwill stores have a decent selection of. One of my daughters gets named brand clothing at her local Goodwill.
