They recently released a live video of them performing Money On My Mind, a song from their new album. They are amazing live and it’s my favorite song of theirs. So I recommend that! Also their promotions have gotten better this comeback!
Glad you guys are checking them out again! “Money on my mind” is their heaviest song imo. They released a live concrrt version for it! The guitar solo, the screamos in it (at the end) are a MUST listen
Their newest title track “Little Things” is even more rock, less heavy, but somehow just more “classic rock sound”. I don’t know how to explain 😂 but it’s just SO GOOD! The whole Troubleshooting album (where this track is on) is an absolute masterpiece! You can feel them getting more confident in finding their own sound, while also constantly evolving with it.
As practically everyone in this comment section is saying, if you want to watch a live performance of theirs Money on my mind (from their closed beta concert) is a good one to start with
I was lucky enough to see these live a few times this past year, and they are so talented especially live, and I don't think I've ever had that much fun at a gig before! I really recommend checking out some of their recent live stages from their tour like Money on my mind as other people have recommended but also some of their covers like the MCR or Bring me the Horizon
First things first the chorus to this song is similar to Judas Priests "breaking the law" which i love. Also I've said plenty of times if I like the first 5 seconds of a song I'll keep listening to it and this song Is no different. My bias is Jooyeon aka the bassist and maknae while my wrecker is Gunil aka drummer and leader. I've been a villian aka fan since their debut with happy deathday and these guys are my 3rd ult kpop group ever
Thy have live performances for most of their songs and i highly recommend checking them out, I tend to prefer the live performances over the studio versions usually. Some recs Money on my mind, strawberry cake, pluto, moneyball.
The reason why there was lots of comments underneath this title track is because the company hardly promoted it or the mini-album a lot of Villains didn't even know they were having a come back until the day that's how bad it was. Most of the promotion was from the fans on Twitter. They were just about to start on a European tour so you would of thought JYP and studio J would have done a better job at promoting them. It's just the letter X then dinary if you look on RUclips you can find leader and drummer Gun-il pronouncing it when introducing themselves
JYP has nothing to do with BTS. JYP is the agency/ music label that manages the Exdinary Heroes. BTS is managed by the Big Hit, which is the original company the whole Hybe conglomerate evolved from.
When you wanna listen to K-rock that goes hard, I'd suggest the band Bursters! They go hard!! They are on hiatus but the lead singer is with a band called phantom lunatics right now. They only have one single right now, downfall, I'd also suggest giving that a listen! TIA
I recommend one of their latest tracks - money on my mind. There is a live performance of this song on their channel. Will be great if you guys react to it.
There are the 4 big companies (and lots of companies that are not considered to be as big). SM, YG, JYP and HYBE. These companies have sub labels and Xdinary Heroes is under the JYP sub label called Studio J. DAY6 is also under Studio J btw. Something important to note is there are idol groups (the kind of groups that dance) and idol bands (idols that are not dancers and play their own instruments). Xdinary Heroes is a band promoted like idols. Some Kbands are idols but not every Kband is made up of idols.
Here's a few suggestions I have for you guys. These are all J-rock: * Buck-Tick - Dokudanjo Beauty -R.I.P- * Buck-Tick - Scarecrow * Buck-Tick - GUSTAVE * D'espairs Ray - Aberu to Kain
