Sadly... I don't think that will be possible, and the main reason are not ratings or anything like that. The main issue is that the original seiyuu of Kamogawa passed away, that issue alone almost caused for the third season to not be produced/aired since George Morikawa, the manga's author, hates chainging seiyuus; and now, Kimura's original seiyuu also passed away, so with those issues I don't think we are going to have a fourth season, a real shame, because the anime has been one the best adaptation of most mangas, Madhouse did an outstanding job animating it. Don't get me wrong I WANT the anime to continue.
Ah damn that's tragic, I don't keep up with the Japanese VA's as much as I do with English ones so hearing this is news to me. I also wish for a new season but sticking with the manga is fine too. At least I can hear their voices when I read ❤
