Hi, glad you found it helpful. To send FX to Aux, you just need to make sure it is routed to the one you want in the Routing section, then adjust the FX return level in that Aux mix.
Hey, thank you for this really insightful video lesson. FX Return is quite interesting. I have a question: how did you manage to record the band, as I'm assuming they weren't playing when you were recording this video. I really want to be able to have a lot of time to EQ my band and play with FX etc. without annoying them by keeping them practicing live until I'm satisified. Thank you for your help in advance!!
I make multi-track recordings and play them back through the desk - all explained in sessions 24 and 25 using Reaper which is the DAW I usually use (but you can use any other in a similar way).
Hey, if I get some time I'll look into that. It's basically routing and send levels, some of which I talk about in the session on routing. You need to make sure the FX return is routed to the Aux mix, then set the fader level.
I disagree, if anything it is a bit quiet in places, but I chose these levels on purpose to get a balance between hearing my explanation and the results of using the different FX. It may depend on what you are listening with, I recommend studio monitors or a good pair of headphones.
Hi, thank you for your vidéo, Very clear! how do you send the FX to an auxiliary ? Thanks

The music is too loud. Maybe speaking into a mic will work best.
