What a treat in store today. It has been a long game of patience, but this was so thrilling to witness as you will see by my reactions ! Icarus has the ability to make what I call puppy eyes or cub eyes. He put his front legs in a silly stance, looked at you with eyes like a street lion/dog begging for the gate to open. That was adorable. It brings be so much joy to see Meg having a great life after losing our dear Amy. Icarus must have been very patient & loving. They don't appear to be geriatrics, love makes everyone young again. ❤🦁

It's October 27, 2023 watching this. It was delightful to see Meg and Icarus getting along so well together. It was a wonderful pairing that Kevin arranged which took much patience and time to get them used to each other. I'm sure that they are happier Lions for being able to share a friendship. They don't show signs of their age at all which I'm sure is due to the wonderful care they receive from Kevin and team.

I'm so glad that the pairing of these two lions has reached the place and level it has, as I was concerned for Meg's well-being early on. The two are getting along swimmingly and it's extremely heart-warming to see. While I miss Meg and Amy's interractions, I'm happy to see her happy and thriving again with Icky. You'd never know Meg's 20 given how spry and lively she still is. It's as if she has a new lease on life. Way to go, Kev! The experiment paid off.

This was my first time seeing & hearing Meg roar! I usually just see her being affectionate with Kevin and rolling all over him. Interesting how Icarus was sniffing Meg and she just rolled over on her back! They’re really fun to watch!
