It’s the first day of spring and I can’t wait for the weather to improve as I’m doing the street-side mechanic thing on my S60. Got parts, tools and car! Now I need some warm sunny days! When I picked up mine they said the battery was dead. I tested and came up with good readings. Went over every ground connection I could find and made sure they were tight. Fired up on the first try, threw my tags on it and took off. Not sure, but it seems like a lot of these Volvo models, at least the P2 chassis, have wiring issues over time. Look forward to seeing you get that thing to the next level!
We really appreciate your viewership! We’re trying to find a issue even after one’s been fixed. It’s pretty frustrating to a certain point. Our S60 has some wiring issues for the turn signals, but we can only imagine how some are comparing this 850 to other Volvos. Some have it easy, some have it worse! Hopefully we’ll find the end of the stick at some point!
Dang that seems frustrating I hope it gets running soon guys

More volvo 850 5 cyl content please
Big reek about to lose it 😂
my dad has a Volvo 850r and it wasn't starting after we got lunch, turned out to be the cam position sensor wire was loose
We thought that the cam position sensor might be off by timing. We’re going to try that soon!🤙
@@WhipGetters I think that on most Volvos the cam position sensor is only required to start it, afterwards it will run fine if you unplug it
It’s crazy how we had spark before any of the overhaul of the pcv system and everything else, then once everything was put back together, no spark… 😤
check the fuel pump and fuel filter.
They’ve both been changed, sadly no change!🙁
