Gulping the cracked dice makes it permanently active (which he already did later on anyway before even getting DC in the secret room). Doing so earlier just lets him keep Nuh-uh trinket as well, which changes all coin & key pickups to other pickups like other trinkets, cards, pills, batteries. Nuh-uh trinket has no effect on judgement card or damocles, and I don't know about you, but I don't think he needs more coins than 99. Even if we're being generous the lowest coin amount he went to was 42, he would have procced death certificate no matter what. Maybe you're talking about a different trinket?

If you want planetariums, you could go beast, skip all item rooms until planetarium, and then you can collect the skipped items on the way back up to beast

Get the first floor card against humanity (you get the last cent by blowing up the top left pot in the room furthest to the right) Go to floor two to use it on the big room, get infinite money In the shop, (buy humbling bundle optional but you should), use the restock machine and get chaos Then the treasure room is succubus
