    Sorry about the upload issue with the first video for some reason it would only play half way through it and we had to re-upload it. My apologies for the issue, RUclips was just not wanting us to show you guys this amazing ratchet idea we had ! A locking flex head will definitely be a game changer and hopefully Matco Tools will pick it up and run with it because it will be amazing.

      I've seen it done before. Matco sells a bfr58 3/8 in 1/4 body. I've seen someone switch it out on an afr128lfg. You're going to need the backing plate of the bfr58 unless Matco sells them separately.

      @@UrbanJedi Can matco parts be used inside a gearwrench ratchet. My thought was to use my Gearwrench 1/4" and use Matco parts to make the 3/8" conversion. Only issue is finding a plate with a 3/8" hole that will fit the Gearwrench 1/4" locking flex head ratchet.

    That flashlight you picked up was the first tool I've ever bought from Matco. My dealer stopped me from buying a more expensive light because this one was better and cheaper. I'm a lube tech at a local Dodge dealer. Amazing light. Battery lasts forever and is super bright. Just wish the power was better. I have the maroon color

Send all you’re broken stuff in and get replacements hell if you’re just gonna pitch em I’ll pay the shipping and send em my way 😁😂😂. Were you buying you’re stuff used or new? I’ve recently found Williams USA stuff to be identical to snap on but 1/4 the price. From one addict to another go to toolsdelivered.com but hide you’re wallet 😂😂. The USA stuff is all previous gen snap on. The Williams Taiwan stuff is all bluepoint no bs. The Taiwan stuff is very high quality though well it’s bluepoint w a Williams stamp 😂. All for 1/4 the price though. The USA stuff has letters and numbers while Taiwan stuff is all numbers. I have a mix of snappy, Wright, Williams, Proto, Mac, channelock, VIM and sk. Check out that website though and lmk what you think. I have a vid of the USA sockets on my channel. The super combo wrench’s are the same wrench’s caterpillar rebrands for their own. Yeah I gotta buy a new stubby 3/8 air impact. My milwaukee stubby couldn't break loose torque converter bolts but my buddies mini air Mac gun could. Sometimes you still need the power of air because they cant make a electric impact small enough but have a ton of power

      What about the milwaukee 1/2" stubby

    • @automedic9781
      @automedic9781 5 лет назад +1

      Jenko Wouldn’t make a difference, the torque ratings are the same, the only difference is the drive size of the socket you have to use

    • @scottie26169
      @scottie26169 5 лет назад

      As a first year working on Ford trucks do you think the ½" stubby would be a good choice ?

    • @automedic9781
      @automedic9781 5 лет назад +1

      Jenko If you want my honest opinion I would go with air tools myself, they cost far less to operate in the long run, and you get more power for a more consistent time period. If you’ve decided you for sure wanna go cordless, I wouldn’t waste the money on the 1/2 inch stubby, I’d get the 1/2 high torque m18 with one key, and the 3/8s m12 stubby for tight spaces, and the 3/8s m18 that has 600 ft lbs of torque

Some things it has really disappointed me on thinking it should no problem then 10 minutes later itll break off the threads off a tie rod end without hesitation like it did to me today lol!
