Actually it s not THAT easy but it helps a lot. I needed some additional other Tutorials to solve ALL problems. If i knew that before, i had never started my wordpress project on a mamp development environment to begin with! My recommendation: Start ur project live on a server!

because localhost has mysql default username root. But in hosting server, root is main server’s main login. For cPanel, it must not be used for configurations.

Now, I made some changes on my website (localhost) and want to upload it back to live server. The database name on localhost is different from live server. If I upload the files and database having different database name would it affect the one that's on live server? Thank you so much in advance!

Yes. Some times wp will save seriolized data and we need some database migration plugin to replace that URLs in all tables

After all was done, only the home page was showing. All other pages kept saying internal server error

if your MySQL Host is not localhost, put your correct hostname instead of localhost.

There is nothing wrong with the database name. Just set correctly it on configuration file. Thats it.

If it is 404 not found, get the .htaccess file correctly and put the same directory.
