Hi Tressa! I LOVE those flocked hangers - I re-did my entire closet with them with several sets. I also have myself a rule - when all the flocked hangers are full I can't bring any more clothes into my wardrobe unless I purge an equal number of pieces. 2 pieces in - 2 pieces donated etc. I have actually had my eye on those boots for over a year! I was skeptical because I was not familiar with the brand or company. Lo and behold - the same company reached out to me and offered to send the boots to me to review. I negotiated with them and said that I would love to receive the boots IF I can give an HONEST review AND if they would include a second item that I can offer to my viewers as a giveaway. So sorry you're dealing with the personal solar flashes. Have you tried keeping a tiny fine spray mist bottle with witch hazel nearby or in your purse? A quick spritz on the back of your neck, face, wrists, and decolletage is helpful and good for your skin when those meltdowns occur.

I hoped someone would invent a bra with a built in 5,000 BTU A/C cooling mechanism when I was in the throes of my hot flash extra special summer glowing season. It's worse when you also live in the mildew belt of the south. Hang in there.
@@TheresaRene360 It varies widely from person to person and if you decide to follow hormone therapy that can affect it as well. Mine was brought on surgically and due to some other complications I wasn't allowed to take the hormones. I also have some thyroid, and other medical issues that involve the central nervous system, that affected me especially during this time, so I'm not sure my experience is anywhere close to the norm. In my case, it was very difficult for me to identify the cause due to so many possibilites. I don't mean to dodge your question, because it's one we all ask each other during menopause, but I doubt my answer would hold true for anyone else. In my case, it went on for years, but like I mentioned there were many other factors that could have caused my hot flashes. For what it is worth, I did use some dietary modifications and natural OTC health remedies such as yams, black cohosh, etc. At least it made me feel like I was trying to do something to help myself, and while it was the miracle I had hoped for, it did help. If you are healthy, you should have a much easier time of transition than I did. When all else failed, I just went home and took my clothes off and stood either in a cool shower or in front of a fan. hah

I think you are correct that it varies wildly from person to person. Some women have told me it lasted just a couple of years for them.
