How To Start A 2017 - 2021 Cadillac XT5 With No Remote Detected - XT 5 Dead Key Fob Not Working

A video tutorial on how to start a 2017 - 2021 Cadillac XT5 with a remote key fob that has a dead battery or is otherwise not working and has a dash showing the message "No Remote Detected".
If your remote key fob has a dead or bad battery or is otherwise broken, the DIC in your Cadillac XT5 may display NO REMOTE DETECTED or NO REMOTE KEY WAS DETECTED PLACE KEY IN TRANSMITTER POCKET THEN START YOUR VEHICLE. The REPLACE BATTERY IN REMOTE KEY message may also be displayed at this time.
To start the Cadillac XT5 with No Remote Detected:
1. Place the remote key fob in the XT5's remote fob pocket- located in the cupholder.
2. Start the Cadillac XT5 as you normally would.

I looked in the manual and could NOT find the transmitter pocket so big THANK YOU! Also, it wouldn't start for me but after I waited 10 minutes, it did, what's that about?
we replaced the battery 1000 mile ago so could the battery be bad already?
