I'm a professional animation director, but I'm always envious of those that can really move the colour and composition around so (seemingly) effortlessly. I just want to tell you that your instruction videos are far and away the best I've seen. Any time a question starts to form in my brain as I'm watching one of your videos, you begin to explain the subtlety in question. I also really love your style, which is not often the case when I watch other art instruction videos (I'm a real tough audience). Congratulations on your wonderful site. Keep it up!! Do you do anything to seal the drawing in before you start painting? I find my pencil marks often smudge.
You can spray with a pencil & charcoal fixative, I use a sennelier brand spray.
