Actually to make it sounds more plausible.... Serena's mother was originally called Queen Selenity in the manga to match the greek goddess Selene...Serena, her daughter was given the name Princess Serenity....previously she was to take on the same spelling as her mother but because she fell in love with a Earthling aka Prince...she was called Princess Serenity - this matches with the greek mythology of the moon goddess Serenity who fell in love with a earthling by the name of Endymion

Rini is the given nickname Serena gave her daughter as her full name os Princess Small Lady Usagi Serenity... aka by everyone else Small Lady. Serena now becoming Queen of the New Earth as she claimed title Queen of the Moon in the battle of Metallia in Season 1 ( manga only). Takes the name in season 2 - Neo Queen Serenity (new queen of the earth)...same goes for Darien - Neo King Endymion

Yes the ten year old Luna is odd, but my whole point is how do you know that Naoko did not intentionally write her in? And the fact that she wrote SMAS doesn't confirm any of your claims.
Anyways, it was an interesting theory, and I now see why you would think this, but there's just no evidence for it. (Naoko actually STATING that she felt that way, instead of you assuming that she did even if it seemed "obvious".)

@serena578 0:26 is Usagi's mightmare (same nightmare as Mamoru's) that if they get married the world ends (beginning of R season when they break up). Next is from the R season when the senshi go to the future with Chibiusa and King Endymion is telling of how Crystal Tokyo came to be, The part after that I don't remember. Hope this helps.

the purple hair one is queen serenity. not neo queen serenity/sailor moon. Queen Serenity was the mother of Princess Serenity/sailor moon during the time they lived on the moon. But she died saving them.
