- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday opened a controversial Hindu temple built on the ruins of a historic mosque in the northern city of Ayodhya, in a political triumph for the populist leader who is seeking to transform the country from a secular democracy into a Hindu state. The temple is dedicated to Hinduism’s Lord Ram and fulfills a long-standing demand by millions of Hindus who worship the revered deity and extoll him for the virtues of truth, sacrifice and ethical governance. Modi’s party and other Hindu nationalist groups who seized on the demand have portrayed the temple as central to their vision of reclaiming Hindu pride, which they say was suppressed by centuries of Mughal rule and British colonialism. Now international media will have a field day because of what happened and it only benefits one person and that is Modi. That's Bhagwan Ram's birthplace and everyone who is devotee of Bhagwan Ram wish to see a mandir there. If you are worried that some far right Politician is going to take advantage of that, then maybe the moderate Politicians should have listened to the pleas of the public and resolve the issue earlier. I mean Kashi, Mathura, Ayodhya are the famous cities in Hinduism, specifically Vaishnavism. If we don't have our mandirs there, then where would we? Top leadership of Congress is out of touch with Indian public.

#1: "Many Hindus believe that there previously been a temple before the mosque was built there." He didn't mention what was found of archeological surveys.
#2: "Supreme Court gave the land to Hindus". He didn't talk about the evidence which led to that decision. He simply ignored all the details of the case and how it was contested over 130 years, with 1st court case being filed 1885 during British rule.
#3: "Land was given for the mosque but community has struggled to get support from govt to help build the mosque and there has been a disparity". He didn't mention that govt didn't support for the construction of temple either, funds for the construction have come from pubic donations.

For those who don't know the complete story, the møsque structure that was taken down was actually built on an original old temple structure 496 years ago by Muslim kings. But they didn't built the mosque from scratch. They destroyed the upper and outer part of old Hindu temple and turned into a mosque looking structure. With a long legal battle, after proper survey by a grand archeological team, all temple remains were found beneath the mosque structure, including idols of Hindu gods deep under the soil. After complete archeological survey and other evidences, Supreme Court of India gave the decision in favor of Hindu temple. So this temple is being restored back after nearly 500 years !!

1885- Hindus filed a civil suit with British court in India for reclaiming the original temole land and giving it back to Hindus for building temple.
1991- Babri Mosque was brought down by some fringe elements.
2019- After 134 years of filing the civil case from 1885, Supreme court of India finally delivered unanimous judgement on the 1885 case and temple land was given back to Hindus for building Hindu temple.
2024 - New temple build at the location 500 years after it was destroyed by Babur.

More than 30k temples were razed down and mosques built on the top of it..! These are well documented in Mughal records !
Hindus are demanding only 3 back which are our holiest sites - Lord Ram’s birth place, Lord Krishna’s birth place and Lord Shiva’s most important place..!
The mosque in question was called masjid-e-janmasthan (janmasthan means birthplace) built by an evil iconoclast Mughal ruler called babur who built this in memory of his teenage boyfriend called Babri.!
Muslims in a Hindu majority India are thriving and their population increased from 7 to 15% !! Where as in Pakistan and Bangladesh hindu population has dwindled down to 2 and 6 % from 18 and 24 % respectively!! Muslims in India are more safer and prosperous than Muslims of Pakistan or Bangladesh or many Muslim countries !!
India was partitioned because of the Muslims. They do not allow the non-Muslims to exist in Pakistan. Hindus used to be 26 percent of the population in 1946, now that percentage has gone down to 1.8 percent. Thus, they must leave India now.
You are correct but it cannot be a one way road. After partition of India Hindus and Sikhs were ethnically cleansed from Pakistan and Bangladesh. India didn't displace it's muslims (although they got a separate land). But Indian muslims rather than taking modern education and broad worldview followed radical clerics and the result is the muslim population is conservative, backward and radical. We cannot afford to lose our land for religion again.
So muslims have to modernize and stop following radical clerics
Almost all muslims of India were converted hindus either by sword on their neck or by some other cunning and cruel actions while their rule in past centuries. You don't believe it ? Then make DNA test for them . otherwise don't sit and talk in the panel😊

With how your ruling government is treating minorities, its extra-territorial activities and the general hostilities, you think people want to deal with India?

Also if you are soo worried about our "minorities " feel free to take them to your country. Our country was broken on religious lines and one country given to Muslims. If they choose to stay back it's their fault not ours. 😅
