  • Getting posh with pliés & pasta! For this episode of #CuratedWithCassie we've challenged Cassie to become a more refined lay-dee by improving her culinary skills and expanding her cultural horizons.
First, she visits Allta Wine Bar in Dublin where head chef Hugh Higgins teaches her the secrets to making your own pasta. Apparently the key to making this Italian food perfectly is all in the thumbs - and quite therapeutic according to Hugh!
Then it's on to DanceHouse where Cassie gets her first ever taste of pliés and jetés with Ballet Ireland. Joining the company for rehearsals of their three new performance pieces, Cassie discovers just how athletic you need to be to be a professional ballet dancer. And Ballet Ireland director Anne Maher explains that there's far more to modern ballet than Swan Lake.
