I'm a high school intermediate photographer/videographer/rowing nerd....what settings where you using to film the majority of these shots as far as resolution/frame rate?

Sounds a lot like me back in the day! I’m using my Canon C70 with the RF 15-35 for wides and 70-200 for close ups. Camera setting are CLog 2, white balance is 5600K, frame rates and resolution are 4k24 or 4k120, shutter angle at 180 degrees (basically shutter speed at 2x frame rate), and ISO between 100-400 (have since learned to keep it at 800 for my camera’s maximum dynamic range). The C70 has built in ND filters and in this filming session I usually had 4/6/8 stops of ND switched on, depending on how bright it was.

You’re very welcome! A lot of my older videos before switching tot he C70 in Feb 2021 were shot with the Canon T5i, my Phone, and a GoPro! I learned a lot of my techniques back then and found ways around my camera’s limitations before I invested in upgrading my gear!
