Overhaul is the only one who can heal Deku from his previous uses of 100% so that he can utilize 100% properly in the final fight against Shigaraki. He could literally reconstruct Deku's body to be perfect again.

Since the introduction of Overhaul i thought this, Chisaki was never a villain material, he became the leader of his gang with the intention of bringing society to where it was and bringing with it the past status his gang used to have, all for his father-like figure' sake, a good intention based on bad actions but just as the previous "villains" such as gentle and stain, the league of villains used them indirectly to fulfill a more dire end, Chisaki wanted a society with no quirks, the league just wanted quirkless heroes; Stain wanted an honest hero society by purging every fake hero, the league just to purge heroes but the heroes could never distinguish the villains from one another, they were all criminals but i expect from Deku's empathy most heroes will have to tolerate people that were considered villains and to trust each other since Chisaki never wanted this type of chaotic society nor Stain would wanted his true message to be twisted and corrupted and both will know cooperation is a must.
Overhaul is still my favourite villian I love having him back.

Overhaul in the latest chapters where we see him , seems like a guy that repent on his past action.
He doomed the father figure he loved. No one can wake him up other than him.
He keep mumbling his name like to say "What have I done.."
In his mind, what he was doing was the right thing to do, but we obviously know it wasn't.
Getting owned by Deku, getting his hands removed from Shigaraki and getting incarcerated was a reality check for him.
What he has done wasn't the right thing to do.
He will try everything he can to atone for his sins.
So I really think Overhaul with team up with Deku.

Imagine if overhaul tries to put things right by helping the heroes, reviving his boss and having an arc with eri and if he does die he would by giving his life to save eri's.

Hopefully he'll be a reformed villain, which is something we haven't seen that much.
Feel like he’s gonna be a side character for the hero’s once a villains arc is finished they usually just stick around and help out someway
For what reason though. That's the issue. He of all people should not have a reason to go good, but actually, double down out of revenge on Shigiracki and Deku. Don't like 180 turns for the sake of them. Toga has better reasons to do that than Overhaul since she is actually seeking help from the heroes ( or was at least).

id really like to see some kind of redemption arc for overhaul. meeting eri again and trying to earn her forgiveness. itd be pretty kool if overhual actually joined the heroes. after all the trauma of losing everything, maybe after eri fixes his arms and he fixes her grandfather (i imagine that the grandfather would forgive overhaul in the end based on the kind of person he is), he finally realizes the ideals of his mentor and father figure and decides to fight to protect his family. i know thats very happily ever after but i feel like with the ideals that were driving overhaul in the first place it wouldnt be a huge jump for him to reconsider his actions in this new light and switch sides.

Lady Nagant might have terrifying use for Overhaul, if her quirk works like Momo’s and she can copy any bullet she understands how it works. If he can teach her to to create quirk destroying bullets, it instantly makes her the most dangerous enemy EVER.

Ofc this theory is unlikely because it’s not like Lady N knew that Overhaul could make those bullets when she took him along from prison.
But man is the potential scary.
(Then you realize that there is no reason that Momo can’t one day do everything Lady N does plus a helluvalot more.)
I think eri would much rather use her quirk to help Aizawa right now over overhaul. I don’t think she’d be quite ready to see him again right now anyway.

Not to disagree, but Eri is one of those types of people that feels guilty for others. Not to mention, she didn't care about her own safety just the heros. Eri would help Aizawa, but I feel like she'd help Chisaki too.
Still, IMO the hypest return is the return of a God, Chair Sama.

I dont think yal remember that just as much s he dsilikes shigaraki and them, he dislikes the heroes as well. The only possible way I see them teaming up is shinso or they form a contract where eri and chisaki both get to see the old man as long as thy each help each othre
NO REDEMPTION
I don’t see Eri restoring overhaul’s arms or use of his quirk, but I 100% could see her healing the boss. She’d be undoing damage that Overhaul did to someone else - much like herself. Overhaul did terrible things, and doesn’t deserve help - but he wants to undo one of his mistakes, and I don’t think Eri would deny him (or the boss, an innocent) of that.
Overhaul will go against the league of villains, that's for sure.
Overhaul might change once he reunites with the old man, and maybe help the heroes

Endeavor did some horrible things to his family, but he's reflected on it, and is actively trying to better himself.
Chisaki tortured and experimented on a little girl for his own ambitions, and clearly feels no guilt for his actions.

TRUE! Everyone's so quick to redeem Overhaul when he's done absolutely nothing at all to even deserve it. Plus, he's still an escaped convict who broke out of a max security prison, and is now working for AFO. It's Deku's job to arrest him again. Even if Deku, for whatever strange fanfic reason, doesn't arrest him, the other heroes and police wouldn't let a former yakuza leader and escaped convict just go free.

Indeed. He abused and experimented on her even as a small child, and even said that the deaths at his hands are her fault. That trauma is deeply rooted in her psyche, so much so that I doubt she could ever get over it, even as an adult.
I hope eri at least tells her how she feels towards overhaul. Hope she lays it out and gives him a verbal smackdown. Class 1-a and UA staff definitely have her back. Also, for overhaul, yes he was raised by gangsters but the latter had some degree of honor and standards

If somehow Overhaul could use his quirk through his feet, then in order to deal with his arms, he just needs to disassemble someone's arm to become his. We saw him merge with his underlings and can still use his quirk through their arms.

They wouldn't have put Overhaul back in the story if he didn't have some sort of purpose, and I doubt he'll ever be a real villain again. No matter what, I feel certain that elements of this will become truth.

The fight between Deku and Nagant will end the same way regardless of who wins. Deku will find out where All for one is hiding.
Either he will be brought there by Nagant, or he will get the info from her and plan an attack with the remaining heroes.
I’d love to see overhaul revisited and expanded on. He was deku’s first completely successful hero job. Muscular he badly damaged his own body and nearly killed himself in the process. Stain he had help from two other kids to fight him. And yes deku had a ton of help from eri but she didn’t mean to help him, she didn’t know how to or how to stop, deku utilized everything he had available to him and won in a one on one fight while certified as a hero to do so. It was a huge moment in his career and I don’t know he didn’t get more praise for his heroics. He may have only saved one girl but the damage to society he prevented was massive. Which society is in much worse shape now...
Not gonna lie, Overhaul is my favorite character from Bnha. I actually hated everything about him at first, but then I started to truly find interest in this manga after he delivered the "You don't see the bigger picture " line. That was it. I changed my opinion about him and the manga because with that line Horikoshi wrote the start of the actual plot of BNHA. Well done Horikoshi, Well done!

I think overhaul should come back because if he is filled with massive amount of guilt, he with try and get rid of it. He might resort to helping hero’s. If overhaul wasn’t a villain, he could have easily taken number 2 hero spot because of his quirk and intelligence. Eri should follow dekus example a save overhaul like deku is trying to save shigaraki.

If Eri ever forgives Overhaul, it will be for the sake of her growth and healing, not his redemption. Forgiveness is the right of the victim. If leaving him unforgiven is what it takes for her to move forward and heal, then that is what she must do.
Then again, Eri could just heal her grandfather without Overhaul's help, so why should she give him back the use of his quirk, lest he hurt more people?

Can we talk about how Lady Nagant has two quirks she is proof that people with quirks have no problem wielding more then one not to the extent of 7 quirks but that is still awesome
Well it depends, a quirk like airwalk isn't really an extensive quirk to use, if it does what it literally says, all she does is solidify air to create a platform to stand on. I mean shoto is capable of using two quirks fire and ice. And even the guy from the MHA movie was able to use multiple quirks with slight modifications to his body. And I think monoma quirk allows him to use 4 copied quirks at once. So Personally I would say that the cap for normal quirk wielders would probably be 3 quirks before it really becomes an issue where you have to mod your body to contain more quirks. So it would be cool to see more characters that have multiple quirks.
It is strange because quirks have been around for over 100 years and now quirks are just starting to combined and mix? Like I know if I was in the MHA world I would probably put quirk compatibility up there for attractiveness with stuff like personalities and looks. By nature we look for qualities in other people that would benefit said offsprings. So I do think it's a bit odd that the quirk singular theory is now just coming into play.
@@Genchi_Violet Shiro has two elements not two quirks (not trying to be mean or anything) his body was built with the resistance to both quirks of course with his limitations I'm just saying it'd be interesting to see her quirk like give out form extensive use cause her body isn't used to the quirk and it'd be cool if people with quirks did have a cap on how many they could receive without modifications like Nine the fourth user died from the power of OFA but it his body couldn't handle OFA nothing about the other quirks and the quirk singularity came from a baby the glowed so it'll go from basic things to being able to nuke a county in a couple hundred years I mean look at Shoto
It's not about people can't use two or more quirks but the body can't hold itself and in time will die sooner.

Overhaul literally killed Eri over and over and then revived her, I don't think he deserves any forgiveness for that

Yakuza in the earlier days was gangster squad which was feared in the underground but during the time of all might he stopped all for one the leader of the underworld and the gangs and kai chisaki was seeing this with his father some kids who bullied kai was making fun of yakuza and kai punched him hard his father said to him that although hurting civillians is wrong u tried to protect the pride of yakuza I'm pruod chisaki while hearing those words overhauls drive to get yakuzas reputation back was so stronge he even abused eri who he loved before

In the recent anime episode, Chisiki even said that he wants make amends with Eri after Midoriya saved his life from Lady Nugat. So we can probably see a redemption semi-arc on its way for him if Eri heals his arms so that he can use his Quirk again. Maybe even team up with Midoriya, Class 1A and 1B and the remaining Pro-heros to finally take down All for one and Shigaraki. Maybe even combining both Overhaul and Eri's quirks could even restore All Might's Stomach wound which limited his muscle form.
I think if Eri sees Chisaki again her trauma will return, but I don’t think that Ua nor the pro heroes will not allow that
I highly doubt Midoriya, Kirishima, Uraraka, Asui, Aizawa, and the Big Three would allow that.
i mean seeing that deku is trying to save villains from themselves, i can see eri following in these steps, kai probably had a bad start to his childhood, nagant did say that he was affected by the corrupt hero society, this probably is a hint to heros that probably abuse their status to do things. after finding out kais full backstory we'll probably see a shift for eri, because in therapy, the only way to make peace with your demons is to face them.
EXACTLY! Even if Overhaul somehow regretted his actions, which he doesn't, he only regrets what he did to the boss, they'd never allow Overhaul to see Eri again. I don't know why people think Eri needs to see her former abuser to get over her trauma when that was literally the whole point of the Festival Arc. Eri can still move on and have a great life without ever seeing Overhaul again.
Besides, even disregarding that, Overhaul is still an escaped convict who broke out of a max security prison, and is now on AFO's side. It's Deku's job to arrest him again.
Even if Overhaul ever stepped one foot in UA, all the heroes would be on him faster than you can say, "Plus Ultra," and then they'd haul his ass back to jail. He'd never even get close to Eri, and Eri wouldn't even hear that Overhaul was there to begin with.

Overhaul plan was one that can be justfied its why hes one of the only villains i like he wasnt nccisarily evil he was tryna free everyone from quirks bc quirks are the cuase of many casualitys villains wouldnt be much of a treat heros wouldnt afto risk there lifes inoccent ppl wouldnt be at danger bc of there own quirks or anyone elses shigaraki lost his family to his quirks same with harry , so overhauls plan was a good idea in my opinion

honestly I would love more Eri in the series but I could do without overhaul. I feel like he's played his role and doesn't need to be included anymore among other things.
I agree but, I still need to see some more development (not redemption) for chisaki. He hasn’t had a full fledged backstory nor any proper development. His character is a special case and I’m intrigued on what will he do in the future.

Wouldn't it be intriguing if rather than the purposed scenario of "All For One" being used as part of a function of "One For All," it turns out that yes, the consciousness of AFO's user was recorded into Deku's quirk, resonates with the other two consciousnesses and serves as a mental block and scrambler for Deku when he uses his own quirks (beyond OFA's physical strength augmentation)? That would be interesting...

I'm actually unsure how I would want the possible Eri and Overhaul interaction, if at all. I guess it really does depend how it plays out. Overhaul has been my favorite villain so far in the series, and Eri is adorable, brave, and deserves all the happiness in the world after everything she's been through, but I'm not sure if I'd want them to react. If she did save him, that would be amazing, I think.
If Shigaraki, a person who is a mass murderer, has no real morals, and is generally an awful person deserves to be saved, then I think that Overhaul deserves the same chance. Maybe not in the same way, but if Endeavor and Shigaraki are going through an arc where they are either repenting or trying to be saved, I think the same courtesy should be extended to him. It's very hypocritical of the characters if they don't give him that chance.
Heck, it would be interesting if both Mirio and Eri saved him.
That's the Same Thing im saying in my head. I have seen so many people say he just deserves to root in prison for everything his done or he doesn't deserve to be saved and im like Shigaraki is a mass murder that literally killed way more people then overhaul including pro-heros plus his the next ruler behind afo but i guess he deserves be saved?!? Idk maybe it's because we don't know where overhaul is coming from. Why does he want to repay the boss so much or how was he abandoned? If we get these questions answered or we see his backstory then maybe people can start filling sympathy for him.
Note: This isn't me saying overhaul deserves to free. He can still be punished for his crimes. After his done.
I still think there's a reason why only one of Overhaul's got decayed while the other was taken by compress without any blood so maybe it can be given back if compress wants to do so so maybe if compress was broken out or something he can give overhaul his arm back ??

@@wake6000 I know but there is literally no reason for him to turn it into a marble and keep it he could've just chopped it off or even turn it into a marble and throw his lifeless arm next to him it just seems like a drag for no reason plus it didn't bleed at all which is weird since when compress did the same thing to himself in the war blood was flying everywhere.
@@zogs4045 I mean in the manga there was a lot of blood there, I'm not sure about the anime because censorship. Plus it's the perfect payback for overhaul. He took compress's arm with his quirk and the same happened to him. Got to remember that Compress is a presenter. It was just a moment of dark humor on his part and nothing more.

I know it is old now do anyone remember when eri help deuk fight overhaul and she was rewinding his body during the fight. Could it be possible that she also rewind his quirk as well, following that is it possible that she accidentally speed up the process of him activating his second quirk black whip, and if that is true does that mean she's able to rewind his quirk so he can have all nine quirks in his disposal
Her quirk didn't speed up ofa it simply just rewinded the damages that deku was taking when using it at 100% that's pretty much all there is.
Here’s my theory it’s kinda bizarre but hear me out.
When deku fight shigaraki his class mate most likely is gonna be there including Shoji the dude that has multi arm quirks
Some how shigaraki might steal shoji quirk to help out overhauls by transfer the quirk into him.
Now overhaul has a quirk that uses his hand, but now he does have hand so what’s the point of him showing up to the chapter. So I predict he will get some type of arm quirk by shigaraki or overhaul.
Here is another prediction Eri get taking hostage and be force to use rewind quirk on overhaul or get her quirk taking by over haul.

bro the only thing Overhaul needs to regain his arms and thereby his quirk is a quirk enchancing bullet , which would be pretty easy form him to find considering his former realationship with the underworld.But horikoshi seems to have forgoten about those durgs , cause if he hadn't we should have seen them being used more often now by the civilians who want to protect their homes by the raging villains!

I hope Overhaul does indeed play a big role going forward. Wouldn't make much sense to bring him in to the mix again and then do nothing with him. He really has no reason to be evil anymore since the Shie Hassaikai is gone and it seems redeeming himself to his adoptive guardian is all that weighs on his mind now. If he does have a redemption it would be pretty believeable.

Ok, ima theorize right here.All For ones first step is probably complete because the first step to get OFA could be that he needs the same DNA as the ofa users thats probably why he is using shigraki as his vessel because shigraki has the DNA of the OFA users then it could be transfered to shigraki then all for one can give it to his body making OFA.IDk how he going to transfer it but well see. :)
Overhaul was confirmed to be able to use his quirk with his feet so what if he bands up with Rappa and Choro against the league. maybe fuse with a Nomu ?
Ant since nagant is on the floor in a very broken state unable to use her arms much similar to the state he was in while in Tartarus so it wouldn't surprise me if he healed her so they'll be even
