Every second matters on this complete piece of work. It's a must listen to from start to finish. You'll find how you can escape and also be so tentative. Congrats. What a album of a lifetime.

And as much as I love ALL OF THEIR ALBUMS I do think I gotta agree that as a whole, from start to finish, this is their best album. Truly a fucking masterpiece!! I don't know who sent the sevendust CD's but they changed my life with them. To this day these guys are my fav band to listen too.. plus hey.. now everytime i have a flashback it's of music instead getting mortared every morning. lol.
Sevendust is incredible and definately underrated. They should be headlining tours. The entire band is tight and each is incredibly individually talented, complimenting one another perfectly. Im a drummer so I'm partial to the highly energetic, hard hitting, top notch drummer that Morgan Rose is. I have seen Sevendust live 7 times and they never disappoint. Sevendust doesn't need massive PR stunts to create volume, because to hear their music is to be their fan. I have never once heard anyone speak ill of them, after hearing their music. They don't need hype to be artificially created for them, they create their own hype. In a world without marketing, they'd be the most famous band in the world. But this world has marketing. Nobody markets Sevendust, because they don't need it. Record company's spend their money on bands that wouldn't get anywhere without help, and Sevendust gets thrown to the wayside because they do fine on their own.They get marketed by us, the fans. So if you think Sevendust is underrated, you need to get out their and start spreading the word. YOU are what will make their public image match their Titanic Talent. So do your duty and SPREAD THE GOSPEL OF SEVENDUST!!!
it really frustrates me that a lot of really underrated bands on RUclips are losing a lot of potential fans because of the song algorithms on this site, too. I started off trying to look up Dead Letter Circus, started off with a drum cover by some woman (which is great but i came to find the band), and then it just went to songs from Motionless in White and Architects, which I'm literally stuck listening to almost daily in the same order because of RUclipss stupid "mix" algorithm. A lot of bands are missing out on the audience they deserve because of this imo. I am glad RUclips got me all the way here though, these guys rock \m/

It took me a few listens to fully get behind it, but now I fuckin' love this album. I had a similar experience with their last album, Kill The Flaw, but this one kept surprising me in new ways every time. "Descend", in particular, is absolutely brilliant, one of the catchiest hooks I've heard in years (with "you lead and we'll follow"). "Medicated" and "Cheers" to "The Truth" (tracks 6 to 12) are my favourites from this release, "Descend" is arguably the highlight of the bunch for me though.
Lajon is seriously one of my top favorite vocalist of all time! I absolutely love how his voice ranges from aggressive to smooth so flawlessly!
He absolutely brings it live too. I really wish sevendust would do a heavy remake of Seal's "Crazy" with Lajon doing that vocal.
