I started playing rocket league in 2015 and quit in 2020. I was 13 back then and am now in my twenties. I remember watching the first rlcs, how tightknit the community was and the BRA71L jokes. This song brings me back to that period in my life. The feeling is nostalgic and bittersweet but i'm glad i've moved on. Thank you rocket league.

Damn, that hurts my soul. I remember playing rocket league back in 2016-2017 and I'd be so excited to play this game, hop in, hear this, love it and play. Then now, 2020, I listen to this and all the memories attained from this game are unattainable now, the feeling of seeing something so new and fresh like rocket league isnt possible for me anymore.

This song will forever be the song that outdid the game it was made for.
I love this song so much that almost 3 years ago when I started writing my story I had this song on repeat for when I wrote the final battle scene. I still have that draft somewhere, I wrote it like a music video in tune to this song. To this day this song still inspires me when writing/drawing. If I ever publish my book I'm crediting this song and some other songs for the inspiration :D
