Many people in Hong Kong said that they fight for Democracy. Do you know what is democracy? Democracy means that you have to respect the law. You can have your own voices but have to accept and respect the voices and decisions of the majority. Yelling, screaming, fist fighting (Taiwan) inside parliaments because people do not agree with you are childish plays. They will not solve any issues. I live in California. Because of democracy, we can not even build the high speed Railroads (People have been fighting for last 20 years and wasted more than $80 millions dollars per year and we still have more than 200 lawsuits against the project. If you want Hong Kong to become poor, go to fight for your so called democracy (No big corporations or business will go to a place where there are so many chaos) United States are rich not because of Democracy. United States are rich due to US dollars as the international currency, many big corporations (No democratic leadership), plenty of natural resources and land. No war on its land since Civil War, two oceans with plenty of resource and do not have to worry about military defenses (Can spend the military resource all over the world to achieve the government's objectives.) If you think chaotic democracy can bring prosperity, go to India. You have a very democratic country over there with greater than one hundred parties which make it very hard to do any big projects or long term plannings. I truly want Hong Kong people can have a better life and better housing. If you own GOOGLE corporation, will you select someone like these two young people for leadership. I work in a big corporation which is very successful because they select leaderships based on competency, not based on popular votes. If you think Hong Kong people do not have freedoms, you should live in United States. If anyone said something like what they said to anyone (Not even during oath), you will be sued for discrimination/defamation. If you scream and yell in any official functions, you will be charged with crimes. If you swear in as US senator and starts to encourage independence of your STATES, you will be charged with treason of the country. You two are the best examples why democracy do not work for a better society (Richer and more competitive in the world). I do not support dictatorship. I support rules of laws which you two do not respect. If you two do not respect the laws, how can you two be the official who suppose to sworn in to support the basic laws. If you do not agree with the law. You can have constructive proposals, not caused chaos. You two will destroy Hong Kong because I believe Chines Government wants Hong Kong to be the experiment to cause changes in the future. Now you two really have destroyed the democratic process for Hong Kong. There will be no hope for the people to choose the Chief Executive after what you have done.
